With our 6 kids ranging from ages 2 to 15 - this house was perfect! The separate outdoor areas allowed everyone their privacy and space, making for a relaxing getaway! Thanks Grant and Bridget for a fabulous stay! The house was great for our two families, the men LOVED the TV, and we couldn't get the kids out of the pool, (the mums enjoyed a bit of time out on the sun loungers too!). We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic holiday home............Australia during the day and Bali in the evening drinking wine and eating, whilst the children are sound asleep after fantastic days in the pool or playing on the trampoline!
Grant was just the fantastic host and we had the most fantastic holiday.

We had a fantastic time! The pool was perfect - our 3 year old learnt to swim - even when the day was quite cool we could swim and be warm! The beach was also a hit with our son building sandcastles and making his own canals. Our only problem was we had too many options of places to relax we couldn't stay still for long! The hammocks were great fun, along with the trampoline for the kids, while I loved the bali hut for a bit of peace. This is the best holiday home you will find and the owners are unobtrusive and helpful - thanks a million!!

A perfect house and location for our extended family. The house is very spacious, both inside and out. There was plenty for the kids to do- swim in the pool and spa, play on the beach, feed the ducks and fish, play on the trampoline or draw on the chalk board. My son especially loved the 50" plasma with Foxtel IQ! The adults all loved the holiday too! Thanks Grant and Bridget, we would have no hesitation in recommending the Mermaid House to friends.

Mermaid House was just brilliant. Spacious and comfortable. The pool and spa were heavenly. Our boys had a ball, in the pool and on the beach and pier.I'm going to miss gazing up at those beautiful palms. Grant and Bridget were terrific. As they said, only a phone call away. We're planning next year's return visit already.

We had 3 generations, including 6 small children and found the house excellent in all ways -access to pool,canal beach(although strict supervision required), mainly for fishing,and a good walk to shopping and main beach. A very well appointed house with plenty of space for people to do their own thing.
