Whether it's overnight, a weekend, mid week or a weekly get away, leave the world behind and relax and enjoy yourself in the tranquility of Pacific Palms, an area famous for its string of pristine beaches, beautiful lakes and cabbage palms, only 3.5 hrs from Sydney and 2 hrs from Newcastle.

Bluey's Cottage apartment has it all, and the choice is yours whether you would like to be pampered B&B style or "look after yourself" in the self-contained, spacious and well appointed "beach feel" two bedroom ground floor apartment. The main bedroom opens up to a small courtyard, where a hammock awaits you on a balmy afternoon. A large second bedroom sleeps four comfortably and looks onto a colourful garden area. Both bedrooms have large built-ins.

The private outdoor decking provides a barbeque and outdoor setting perfect for al fresco dining, as well as sun lounges and an outdoor shower. Linen and towels are supplied and the unit can accommodate up to six. Just bring your swimsuit and beach towel.

Bluey's Cottage is proud to be disabled approved, as well as child friendly.

We're just 60 metres from a small shopping strip that caters for most needs and a 150 metre stroll to beautiful Bluey's Beach. No need to drive - just arrive and relax!

Local Attractions

Pacific Palms - "Paradise" to the locals, has something for everyone and is embraced by National Parks. Besides Bluey's, Boomerang, Shelley and Elizabeth Beaches being within walking distance from Bluey's Cottage, there are some beautiful nature walks.

A five or ten minute drive will take you to Wallis or Smith's Lake, perfect for boating, fishing, windsurfing or hiring a canoe. A 20 minute drive south, takes you to the very popular and beautiful Seal Rocks, the second most eastern point on Australia's east coast and the great Myall Lakes.
A 20 minute drive north will take you to Forster/Tuncurry for a dolphin cruise, great shopping or a movie on a rainy day.

In the food stakes, Twenty by Twelve is a must for coffee, breakfast or lunch, as is The Kingfisher Restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch and/or dinner in a lovely tranquil setting. Then there's a short stroll to Jenz for a little retail therapy whilst sipping your favourite tea or coffee. For the best gourmet pizzas, there is Huey's at Bluey's Pizzeria, fully licensed and again only a stroll from our front door, as is Bluey's Cellars for a bottle of your favourite beverage and deli specialties. At Boomerang, a 5 minute walk north from our front door, you will find the stylish and fully licenced M/Bistro open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only just starting in the Palms is Buddha by the Lake on the Lakes Way at Charlotte Bay. It's BYO, food's great and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oh and let's not forget our local seasfood shop with the lovely Kelly and Matt for fresh oysters, prawns and a perfect piece of freshly caught fish to cook on our barbie. Can it get better than that!!!!!

For personal holiday pampering, visit the Blue Healer next door for wonderful body treatments as well as Bowen, but book early as "being pampered" is very popular.

For those wishing to use public transport, buses depart
Central Station Sydney, Chatswood and Hornsby daily
stopping at the tourist information centre, just 100 metres from our front door.

Holiday Rate: The Christmas Holiday rate is $250.00 per night or $1500.00 if you make a seven day booking.
