A Chilled bottle of local Lindeman's "Bubbly" & Ballantyne chocolates welcome you to BunkerDoon Private Holiday Accommodation. Our guests describe their stay as " a home away from home". Our 2 bedroom unit (non-smoking) sleeps 4 people, making it great for couples or small families and is right next to Mildura Golf Club in north western Victoria.
BunkerDoon has air conditioning and heating for year round comfort. Our fully enclosed rear garden includes a paved courtyard which has a shady undercover area with outdoor furniture and BBQ, great for relaxed evenings.
When you're ready to 'BunkerDoon', the large Main bedroom with bay window, now has a King size bed and the second bedroom has 2 singles bed (or can become 1 king size bed) Beds are made with quality linen and doonas + a folding bed & sleeping bag is available to BunkerDoon an extra child or small adult. A portacot and high chair is also now available. (linen can be supplied if preferred for cot or folding bed)
The large bathroom (which has access through a walk-in robe from Main bedroom or hallway) has a deep bath, separate shower recess and vanity basin. There is also a separate toilet.
The spacious, comfortable living area has Stereo/CD, massive (digital) TV & DVD/VCR. There are in house videos and music cd's, catering for many tastes, books, magazines, jigsaws and games. The fully equipped kitchen includes hotplates, oven, microwave and dish washer. We provide you with plunger coffee, teabags and milk to get you started. There is plenty of crockery and glasses of all shapes for whatever drink takes your fancy. The laundry has a large washing machine, iron and ironing board, with washing powder provided.
Even if golf is not your game, you will be completely relaxed strolling through the nearby golf course, where tall trees and native flora provide a perfect home for the abundant bird life. A short walk through the golf course will also bring you to the Clubhouse where you can enjoy sipping on a cool drink or a quality meal in the popular Bistro, open 7days. There is also a swimming pool at Mildura GC, available for BunkerDoon guests (guests must carry BunkerDoon key tag & sign in at Clubhouse - seasonal use only)
A lock-up garage provides protection for your car and storage for bikes or golf clubs (also useful for pets to sleep). And in case you can't bring your own clubs or want to give golf a try, we also have a ladies and mens set of clubs for you to use, at no extra charge! (RH only)

We will also change your linen and clean BunkerDoon for you at no extra charge if you are staying longer than a week.

Overnight stays welcome (midweek only) from $150 (twin share), great rates for stays of 5 nights or longer (from $80/night)

BunkerDoon, Mildura & Surrounds

Mildura is perfect for any length of stay, any season with many festivals and activities throughout the year. There's always something happening in Mildura! The area has abundant attractions with the Mighty Murray River and local fruit & wine industries, major draw cards. Not far from Wentworth, where the Murray meets the Darling, now with plenty of fast-flowing water. We provide a selection of informative brochures for you to view plus we a a short walk from the excelent Mildura Visitor Information Centre, corner of Twelfth Street & Deakin Avenue, where you can also books tours.
BunkerDoon is approximately 2 kms from excellent shopping areas (Langtree Mall, city centre or Centro Shopping Centre) including chain stores & clothing boutiques, homeware shops, post offices, all major banks, hotels. Your tastebuds are more than adequately catered for with abundant cafes, bakeries and restaurants including "Stephano's" in a designated restaurant strip. Langtree Avenue.
BunkerDoon is also within walking distance of the new "Coward's Cafe" with excellent pies, cakes & pastries (also offering early breakfasts), tennis courts, running tracks, sporting fields, the new children’s playground & the Mildura Golf Course is an easy walk to the 1st Tee.
