THE CHURCH is one of Mudgee's original country churches built in 1939 & now situated on "Harrowfield" vineyard just 6.5kms from Mudgee. When operating as a church it could seat 50 parishioners at the monthly services conducted by visiting priests but now just accommodates 2guests.

The Church is in a corner of the extensive garden. Screened from the homestead by shrubs, trees and lawn allowing you a private spot to take in the expansive views and abundant birdlife. A bar-b-que is available on the church terrace. A swimming pool and all weather tennis court are there for your enjoyment or take a walk through the vineyard down to the river or around the 70acre farm.

Renovated to provide quality, self-contained, private accommodation. 'a church in Mudgee' offers you the best of worlds; you are close to Mudgee (6.5kms) & it's attractions while staying in the countryside.

The church is open plan. In the area where once the congregation would have sat is a comfortable sitting room and kitchenette. The bedroom area is where the altar once was and is screened from the living space,there is a queen bed & a single.

The kitchinette is equipped with small fridge, micro-wave, kettle and toaster. A gas barbecue is on the terrace outside and the cupboards are well stocked with crockery, glassware and cutlery.

For cool nights there is a wood fire (and a plentiful supply of wood)& airconditioning & overhead fans & the pool in summer.

Breakfast supplies for a light or BBQ meal are provided.

the 'the church' only accommodates 2 guests at a time.

The Homestead

THE HOMESTEAD, one of Mudgee's most admired properties, offers groups of 4-8 a spacious, comfortable & well equipped home for a weekend away. The simply stunning views and wonderful surrounds will make your weekend truly memorable. Your group will have sole use of the homestead.

The Homestead, ideal for a weekend getaway with friends or family sleeps up to 8 guests in 2 queen rooms, 1 double & 1 twin room. With 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, wood fire, airconditioning, a well equipped kitchen (with stocked pantry), verandah & terrace with gas bar-b-que & outdoor dining table it's a wonderful venue to enjoy a weekend escape.

THE POOL
After exploring Mudgee the pool is a wonderful place to relax. From here you overlook our beautiful valley and the Cudgegong River. You may see the cattle wander by as they head down to the Cudgegong River for a drink or perhaps watch some hay being made on the river flats. Pool towels are provided.

TENNIS ANYONE?
Our all weather tennis court is there for a serious game or a gentle hit. Equipped with lights if you run out of time during the day. From here too you will have wonderful views & perhaps some curious cattle as onlookers! Bring your racquets.

THE FARM, by the Cudgegong River, is all around you. Enjoy the views from your verandah or terrace or take a walk & explore the river or the vineyards.
