The Trawool Shed - Rosehill Cottages offer two-fully self contained Cottages set on a 10 acre property in the historic Trawool Valley.
Just on an hour\'s drive from Melbourne, this unique property offers a parkland setting with the real touch of \'Aussie\' yet so close to Melbourne Metro. Enjoy bush walking, scenic drives, visit local wineries, fishing in the Goulburn River or simply relax in your cottage. Be fascinated by our rare Ombu trees.
Each cottage has a Queen size bed, En-suite, Cosy wood burner/ AC, Television, Video, CD. Private barbeque facilities.
A fully cooked breakfast is included & set out in the Shed Cafe
Our fully licensed cafe restaurant on site allows your stay to be as social or private as you wish - check opening times!

Walk to the Goulburn River or hike up some of our boulder strewn hills to enjoy the best views around and so close to Melbourne! Hug one of our eight Ombu trees - rarely found in Victoria!
Our on site Cafe/restaurant offers a great variety of food, fantastic coffee and is fully licensed. We are proud to be listed in the 2007 & 2008 Melbourne Good Food Guide so come and enjoy country hospitality at its best and only 1 hours drive north of Melbourne

The grounds of the Shed at Trawool contain at lest eight South American Ombu trees- a rare species in Victoria.
We have specimens ranging from young to fully mature - majestic trees with a spreading base and root system. thick lumpy branches, smooth oval leaves.
We also have many Peppercorn trees - most likely planted about the same time as the Ombu.
Come, stay, dine and take the opportunity to commune with nature in this very special part of Australia, the historic Trawool Valley.
