A leisurely 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Sydney through the charming and historic Southern Highlands or down through the South Coast, is "Treekist" within the Kangaroo Valley Golf & Country Resort is nestled amongst picturesque bushland in a peaceful, natural amphitheatre overlooking the valleys majestic, rocky escarpment.
Treekist is a delightful, cosy 2bedroom cabin with glorious views down thru the valley. The biggest deck around and now with unrestricted access to tennis and pool and other facilities, it offers all the trimmings from the fantastic resort.
As the name implies, it's much more than a place to stay. We are located in a comfortable country resort with facilities to make a romantic weekend, mid-week escape or family holiday unforgettable.
Treekist offers a Queen Bed in the main bedroom, 2 Singles in the next bedroom and extra sleeping via a Fijian Day Bed and Sofa Lounge in the living areas.
The Cabin is fully self contained and also has a great 'rangehood' BBQ, but there's also a licensed restaurant (when you dont want to cook).
Jack Newtons original golf course design has been extended and upgraded. Played under the watchful gaze of the many resident kangaroos, the course sweeps across the undulating valley terrain providing a tough test of golf from the back tees. From the front tees its a pleasurable adventure for beginners or a casual game.
So whether your idea of a good drive is taking in the vistas of Kangaroo Valley and the surrounding highlands, or sending a little white ball searing 250 metres down the centre of a lush fairway, Treekist offers the perfect weekend away.
