"Fantastic! Banjo’s was just what I was looking for! It was the ideal style of accommodation & location for a weeks worth of R&R. Being just 15 minutes from Tea Gardens is perfect, whilst at Banjo’s you felt like you were really getting away from it all but then all the modern conveniences were only a short drive away. The dogs also had a great holiday they especially loved the fireplace for resting after a full days exploring the huge secure yard. I would definitely recommend Banjo’s to any family & friends looking for a relaxing break & I hope to return in the future."

"What a lovely house and exceptional service. George and his team went above and beyond what was expected to make our stay enjoyable. Though the winter weather was not the best, the lovely woodfire and the spacious house made up for this. We hope to come back again in the warmer months and catch the crabs. We will recommend Banjo's house to our friends (our mini fox terrier had a great holiday too!)

"The cold and rain did not dampen our holiday at Banjo's House. We just loved the log fire and were most comfortable in such a roomy and well equipped and heated house. Our border collie was in doggy heaven with the interesting huge back yard to explore, and just outside, the water where she raced and splashed and swam for ages. We found many interesting drives and places to visit in the area. Hope to be back some time."

"We had a wonderful 8 days at Banjo's House. We saw so much wild life - kangaroos, colourful native birds, bandicoots, armies of soldier crabs at the back gate and a male koala in the reserve next door. Accommodation was great and the children and the dogs were exhausted every night there was so much for them to do."

"We fell in love with the photo's on the website of the cottage and thought it was even better when we arrived. We had relatives from England stay with us at the cottage and they absolutely loved it. The accomodation was great, the kitchen fully equipped and the surrounding area quiet and peacefull. You won't see a better sunset than from the back deck! "

"Hi! My name is Jordy, I'm a 3 year old German Shepherd who just had the best stay ever at Banjos House!
I swam in the lake, ran around in the big, safe yard, slept under the shade of the trees, went for long walks, & generally had a lovely, relaxing time with my owners.
They enjoyed the gorgeous house very much, thought the views were fantastic, caught some fish, had lots of BBQ's on the deck & spotted heaps of wildlife (including kangaroos, king parrots, lorikeets, dolphins, black cockatoos, hawks, possums & lots of fish).
They really loved to watch the sunset from the deck while sipping their wine & talking about how nice & comfy the house was all that sort of stuff that owners seem to go on about, but I was too sleepy by that stage to notice! I was very busy, as it's such a great spot for dogs!
So thanks George & Banjo, we will definitely be going back to Banjos House for another holiday soon, I can't wait!
Best Wishes
Jordy....woof!... "

"Thanks for crediting our mastercard. We had a lovely time there although it was a bit hot and that would be the only thing that I could fault. But I know you are sorting out the airconditioning.

The house is fantastic and in a lovely spot. The kids had a great time swimming in the lake and it's safe and also great for dogs too! We saw kangaroos sitting at the waters edge on our last day there which was really nice. The house has everything you need and is only a short trip away from the shops, cafes and beaches. It's nice and quiet and very relaxing, sitting on the deck in the evenings with a glass of wine and looking at the lake is definitely my idea of a holiday. Thanks again for the opportunity to stay at Banjos."

  • "We had a very relaxing and back to nature holiday at Banjos(including kangaroos hopping around in back yard and abundant bird life). We took our boat and had a great time exploring the surrounding waterways, the highlight being sighting dolphins EVERY day! On our last morning three dolphins were actually swimmimg directly off shore from our backyard! Caught lots of fish and kids and dog spent hours playing soccer etc in the park sized back yard. Also thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine on rear deck watching the most beautiful sunsets every evening."

  • "Lovely and peaceful, great for those with kids or dogs as the garden is very secure. Quite close to Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest. Lots of good walks, great bird life and beautifully situated overlooking the water. Clean and well furnished."

  • "a beautiful spot. great walks around - pristine bush, fabulous wildlife. the dogs had as great a time as the people. my big poodle met heaps of friends to go swimming with. so easy to go to tea gardens for terrific lunches. your care taker, andy is a most helpful young man. the house is very comfy, and i think all dog owners would be very grateful to have such good accommodation, rather than some hovels on offer with our furry friends."
