Lavender Hill

Launch a boat, swim, fish or bird and platypus watch from the front garden.We are a family owned & operated guest house. Lavender Hill is set on 4 acres of lovely gardens including a pocket of rainforest. We have just 1 room making your stay a personal one. Thye room is self contained with basic cooking facilities and Weber BBQ. It is spacious and well appointed and overlooks the lake. Wake up to the bird calls and have breakfast with the birds under our verandah overlooking the water.

With absolute lake frontage and lawns rolling into the lake Lavender Hill is a very special location. Canoes, Hobie Cat and fishing gear is available for use by guests. Lavender Hill is the ideal for romantic weekends or family holidays. The bird watching is second to none from our lakeside vantage point.

There is so much to do on the Atherton Tablelands. We are close by the weekend markets, the crater lakes, waterfalls, the famous Curtain Fig Tree and the historic towns of Yungaburra and Ravenshoe. The climate here at 750m above sea-level is said to be "naturally air-conditioned". The rolling rural countryside is interrupted by tropical rainforests and volcanic crater lakes. 
The 'Tablelands" are re-knowned for quality restaurants, art galleries, craftwork and antiques.
