Welcome to ‘Hibiscus’, a holiday house situated at Valla Beach on the mid north coast of New South Wales. Valla Beach is located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane and just 36 kilometres south of Coffs Harbour airport. ‘Hibiscus’ is ideal for weekend getaways, holidays, honeymoons, those on long-service, study leave or retreats, and longer term stays for people temporarily working in the area.

Valla Beach is a picturesque holiday spot with a variety of pristine beaches including an expansive long beaches stretching 5 kilometres north to Hungry Head, a secluded cove beach, a large rock pool and a creek. During the Christmas holidays, surf life savers patrol one of the beaches. The beaches are ideal for surfers, body boarders and body surfers, and for those who prefer to loll in the water or walk along the foreshore to Oyster Rock. Clusters of smaller rock pools are alive with small sea creatures and ensure fascinating exploration for children. The headlands provide ideal locations for dolphin and whale watching. The skate park, a short distance from the house, and the park at the headland provide additional recreational venues for youngsters. A tennis court is available for hire at the Headland Cafe.

Coffs Harbour to the north of Valla Beach has a wealth of shopping opportunities for those with a yen for ‘retail therapy’. There are plentiful golf courses in the region with Bonville, south of Coffs, boasting an International course. Bellingen and the ‘Promised Land’, Dorrigo, Sawtell, Macksville and Bowraville, within a short drive, provide many attractions including music festivals, national parks, markets, fine coffee shops and restaurants, and stunningly beautiful picnic and walking spots.

Beautiful Picket Hill, in the diverse shades of morning and evening light, sunshine or mist, gives a magnificent backdrop for brunch or a gentle glass of red. A plethora of native bird life adds sound and colour to the landscape.

‘Hibiscus’ is a two storey, four bedroom home that sleeps 4 adults and 4 children comfortably. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second bedroom a double bed, the third and fourth bedrooms, have two single beds in each room. A new portable cot is available. Three of the bedrooms have built in cupboards and there is also a linen press, making the house suitable for longer-term accommodation. Three bedrooms open onto the upstairs balcony that faces north to capture ocean and mountain views and delightful sea breezes.

The living area downstairs provides a fully equipped kitchen, including a large pantry, microwave and dishwasher. A dining area with flexible table arrangements seats eight and is a fabulous space for unhurried dinners and games nights. There is a highchair available, also. The large living room provides a relaxing environment with ample seating, television, DVD player, air conditioner and a beautiful outlook onto the well-established garden. Both the kitchen and living area open onto a veranda with a barbecue and outdoor living area surrounded by tropical vegetation including mango, paw paw and banana trees.

The property also has an upstairs bathroom and separate toilet, and a toilet and shower downstairs, plus a fully equipped laundry.
