Owners Kathy & Mike Smith live in the adjoining residence and are on hand for any directions, queries, assistance or a friendly chat.

"I stayed at Kate's Place for about three weeks over Christmas and New Years 2007 and cannot overstate how wonderful it was. The cottage itself is quite nice- spacious and very well furnished. It also has broadband internet and a washing machine, which makes life quite easy. Its location is very convenient to seeing the area. As I did not have a car, I made good use of the nearby bus lines, which made it quite easy to get to downtown Perth or Fremantle. Most importantly, Kathy and Mike are two of the nicest hosts you will ever meet. They were very helpful giving us advice on where to visit and what to see during our stay, even going so far to invite us to our first summer Christmas. I would highly recommend Kate's Place."
