Are you looking for something other than the same old motel style accommodation?

Birdsong cottage provides access to two decks and a large, level lawn suitable for games such as badminton, soccer or cricket. There are plenty of places to get away from the kids or to spend a little time just soaking up the sights and sounds of the bush.

Unlike many bush properties, Birdsong Cottage is located within the town of Bermagui, with sealed roads right up to the property. The town is a lovely thirty minute walk away, or two minutes by car.

The cottage faces northwest in an acre of garden with views over spotted gum and stringy bark forest. There are a number of small ponds on the property that support fish and frogs.

Many King Parrots and Lorikeets come to feed, and in the evenings, wallabies can be viewed feeding just below the house. Goannas, Echidnas, Possums and Lyrebirds are also regular visitors to the property.

Simply but comfortably furnished, the lounge room features a large picture window over looking the bush.

A new well equipped galley style kitchen provides a standard, four burner domestic gas stove, and barbeque out on the deck.

The cottage has a large bathroom/toilet area with shower over the bath, and also a washing machine.

Iron and ironing board are provided.

The property is heated by a gas fire in the lounge.

There is plenty of car and boat parking space on the property and boats can be launched from the ramp beside Bermagui Bridge, 1 kilometre away.

Birdsong is an wonderful base from which to explore the beautiful country around Bermagui. There are many wonderful scenic drives. World class beaches are a short drive away and a number of charter operators in Bermagui will take fisherman or divers out to the rich fishing grounds and beautiful underwater scenery surrounding Montague Island.

Bermagui has a vibrant café culture and an excellent patisserie.

Birdsong Cottage

Birdsong cottage is a two bedroom cottage that sleeps up to five people. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with adjacent single bed. There are two decks, one on each side of the cottage, one of which features a barbeque and table and chairs to seat six. There is also a dining table and chairs inside the cottage.

Birdsong House. (only available during summer school holiday)

Birdsong House features two adjacent cottages, each of which will sleep five people. the cottage are separated by a common deck/breezeway. Sleeping arrangements in the larger cottage are similar to the smaller cottage with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed with single mattress beneath. The larger cottage also features a much larger living room and full size, well equipped kitchen. It also has a large paved and covered courtyard with bench table capable of seating ten people.
Birdsong House is an ideal venue for two families wishing to holiday together, a large extended family or group of friends.
