Are you sick of busy hotels and crammed conference areas for your group off-site, conference or event. We have a unique solution for you.

Only two hours from Sydney or an hour from Newcastle Bonn Abbey, Maranda Country House and Monkey Place Country House are all unique country houses with magnificent rural outlooks nestled in the perfect location of beautiful historic Broke in the Hunter Valley Wine County.

Each property is available for individual rental on STAYZ web site (if you are interested in an individual house then please enquire through that individual stayz listing) but if you are looking to accommodate 8-30 people in comfort, and have a company off-site, planning meeting ,small conference or a special event then these beautiful properties and a number of other country houses are within a stones throw of each other.

You may want to have your meeting at the house where you are staying or if your group is larger we can offer you a selection of intimate conference venues including an Australian Country Church or Barrel room on a local vineyard all with full catering. The surrounding country houses offer relaxed luxurious accommodation which will make your next conference or event something to remember.

Each house has a different bedding configuration to single or double accommodate your group size. Some houses are next door to each other but all the houses are within a 5 minutes car journey.

Conference, Meetings and Special Events with a difference

In house catering, catering packs, special dinners and lunches, even breakfasts can be arranged.

The day delegate package includes, morning tea with freshly cooked pasteries,
chefs selection lunch, afternoon tea with gourmet cookies, pads, pens, iced water and mints.

Audio visual equipment: screens, whiteboard and flip chart can be arranged.

Why not have your meeting or event looking over the vines or in the midst of an olive grove. How about a special dinner or lunch in the vines. For something different you can have you meal surrounded by olive trees or even in the heart of a working wine shed. We can arrange private wine tasting and tours for your group, amazing BBQ’s with oil and olive tasting and much much more.
No mass catering. All our catering concepts are as fresh as our garden ingredients, with our country menus designed around the very best local seasonal produce.

You may even have time for a quick 18 holes of golf at one of the many Golf Courses in the area. We have discounted golf available at the wonderful Cypress Lakes Resort only 15 minutes from your accommodation.

DELEGATE AND ACCOMMODATION PRICING

Each house has a minimum tariff of $680 per night. This covers 4 guests in their own bedroom and includes continental breakfast. We have up to 6 houses available.

If you wish to share rooms or utilise facilities in the common rooms the nightly tariff is $80 per person per night in addition to the minimum house tariff and is inclusive of continental breakfast. A full country style cooked breakfast can be arranged at an extra cost of $10 per person.

There is no extra charge for the house where the conference is taking place. We charge a $400 refundable bond on each house.

Most of our guests like the informal approach of using the many comfortable sofas or utilising one of the large tables either inside the houses or on one of the wonderful balconies or verandahs. We have many areas for breakout sessions such as our beautiful gardens on a fine day or the many well appointed rooms of our sprawling country houses.

If you want a more formal meeting we can arrange class room style. The day delegate package includes, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea plus pads, pens, iced water and mints.

Dinners can be arranged to suit your needs. We can arrange relaxed three course dinners at one of the houses with your own chef. This can be themed to suit your needs and palate. We can also arrange wine matching dinners to compliment each course and to give you a feel for the variety of the Hunter Valley wines. You may want to include a wonderful evening at a local Vineyard where your group can enjoy a fabulous meal amongst the vines and participate in wine tasting and winery tours.

The houses are fully self contained so you can choose to do your own catering if that suits.

We provide a selection of team building and leisure activities to suit your budget and needs. We can arrange golf days, hot air ballooning, extreme rally driving, wine tours and even a team cooking school where your groups work with a qualified chef to compete for the trophy of who can make the largest and longest pasta. When the pasta is complete you can all sit back and enjoy your efforts with a three course lunch or dinner washed down with local wines in the old dairy in the middle of nowhere.

PRICING OPTIONS
Each house with 4 bedrooms is $680 per night. This charge covers 4 guests in their own room with continental breakfast. (for example 12 guest in three houses all with their own bedrooms would be $2040 a night inc continental breakfast)

Rooms can be shared or guests may utilise facilities in the common rooms to meet your budget. Extras guests above the initial 4 guests included in the house tariff are charged at $80 per person per night including continental breakfast.

A full cooked breakfast can be arranged for delegates at any of the houses at an extra charge of $10 per person. (NB. For cooked breakfast all delegates must dine at the same location)

Full day and half day delegate packages are available
$50 per person - Morning tea, gourmet sandwich lunch, afternoon tea, mints and iced water
$60 per person - Morning tea, cooked hot lunch, afternoon tea, mints and iced water
Half day package is $40 per person.

Dinner:
Three course dinners at the house with own chef - $65 per person - with matching wines $90 per person
Gourmet BBQ - $45 per person – with wine package $65 per person
Three course dinner at local vineyard - $70 per person – with matching wines and port/liqueur $100 per person

Team building cooking school with 3 course meal including wines plus olive tasting $150 per person.
Half day wine tour $40 per person
