Design Award Winner 2009. The Mission Position has now been rebuilt and comprises brand new luxury accomodation consisting of a 3 bed/ 3 bath 2 storey town house with it\'s own pool, spa, and deck.

Located a 2 min walk from the Village Green with supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and Sunday markets to cater for every taste.
At the front door is 14km of pristine sandy beach, fringed with coconut palms and with views out to Dunk and Bedarra Islands. Behind you the village is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and offshore the Great Barrier Reef. This is truly where the rainforest meets the reef.

The town house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two ensuite + spa in master ensuite, (one bedroom with king size bed + one king size bed or twin singles + one with queen size bed), tv/dvd players and phone in each room, stainless steel gourmet kitchen, washing machine and dryer, BBQ, private pool, car port, water features, and entertaining deck overlooking beach.

Local Attractions

The choices abound - tandem sky diving onto the beach, white water rafting, scuba/dive/snorkelling/reef trips, fishing trips, jet ski, kayaking and island hopping, bushwalking, golf, tennis.

Spectacular inland scenery/waterfalls/crystal clear swimming holes/cassowaries. Beautiful walking tracks along the coast or through tropical rainforest.

If relaxation is more your style what could be better than lazing in the hammock with a good book and a cool drink, followed by alfresco dining on the deck, enjoying the warm balmy night with the moon rising above the ocean in front of you, or sauntering down to the village for \'happy hour\' and maybe sampling one of the fine restaurants.

Getting Here

Mission Beach is situated 2 hours easy driving south from Cairns on the Bruce Highway, or 2.5 hrs north from Townsville. Coach transfers are available, or the Mission Beach Shuttle Bus runs a frequent service to Cairns Airport. A water taxi operates between Mission Beach and Dunk Island.
