Guest Reviews

  • "Cooper's Cottage is a perfect beach hideaway with all the comforts of home. It's sheltered from the wind, and is only a short stroll away from the ocean beach, children's playground and great coffee at the General Store. It's ideal for pets, especially dogs. We found that it was well located for day trips to places like Phillip Island, Wonthaggi, Inverloch, Leongatha, Cape Liptrap Lighthouse and the Prom. Being cyclists, we were also pleased to see how close it was to the railtrails. We saw lots of wildlife and thoroughly enjoyed our escape."

  • "Thanks for having us at Coopers cottage. We stayed 2 weeks and had a fantastic holiday. The house is great; well set up and very comfortable. The fenced yard was great for our dogs, the toys enjoyed by the kids and Venus Bay is beautiful. We loved the surf, the location of the house and the fantastic verandah. Really appreciated the fans when it was hot! It was really relaxing and loads of fun."

  • "The cottage had everything that could possibly be needed, located close to shops and near enough to the beach to hear the breaking waves."

  • "This is a fabulous holiday destination relaxing and secluded with fabulous unspoilt beaches, inlet and river. The house is great: comfortable, well-equiped with a big deck and a secure yard. Highly Recommended and I can't wait to go back! "

  • "Thanks for providing such a great house for our summer holiday. Located close to shops and beach no. 1, our family and our two dogs had a wonderful week. The house is spacious - plenty of room for two families. Providing the phone for local calls (and for people to call us) was an added bonus. I would recommend this house."

  • "The facilities was more than what we could ever have dreamed for - though it poured with rain for more than half our stay, at no time were the boys ever bored. They toasted marshmallows on the fire and played board games when it rained and then made good use of the beach and outside games when the sun shone. Amazing stay - definitely do it again. The added touch of puzzles and games was a pleasant surprise."

  • "We all had a great time! The house is truly well geared for a family stay and irrespective of the weather - you can have a great time!!!!! The board games etc ... were much appreciated when the weather turned foul on Saturday night. "
