Kamari

Description

Kamari is a clean, fresh, well maintained cottage in a quiet street, yet centrally located to all that this area has to offer. It captures the sun in winter and the breezes in summer. There is a tranquil backyard surrounded by native trees and plants. We often stay here ourselves, so it is presented at a standard that we would ourselves expect in a hoilday house.

This property is smoke free and pet free.

Within walking distance you will reach the walking /cycle track which follows the river to its head at North Haven beach, which is a patrolled surf beach. Alternatively the beach is a 3 minute drive away, with plenty of parking, even in peak periods.

10 minutes walk away is a group of shops and 2 cafes (The Sandbar has the best coffee in town!)

For more major shopping, Laurieton is a 3 minute drive away.
Also located in Laurieton is a fishermen's co op, a club, restaurants and not to be missed the beautiful art deco Laurieton Cinema.
Across the river at Dunbogan is a protected beach perfect for little ones or people who prefer to swim rather than surf.

Further afield are wineries, state forests, National park, Port Macquarie (30 km), Lake Cathie and Timbertown.

Property Information

There is 1 main bedroom. The bed configuration is 2 single beds placed side by side, european style. This allows for a sleep uninterrupted by your partners movements. There are 2 bedside tables and 2 reading lamps. There is a built in wardrobe. The furniture and bedding is all new. The room looks out on the back garden.

The second sleeping area is either a sun room when 2 people stay at the house or a sleeping area if there are 4. It is located diagonally opposite the main bedroom, which ensures privacy. The bed configuration is the same as the main bedroom, and the beds can be placed either together or apart.

There is a combined eat in kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook just about anything. There is a Sony TV, DVD CD/radio, games, books and magazines in the living area.

The bathroom is small but efficient with plenty of hot water.
The house has windows all around to capture the sea breeze.
In the garage you will find outdoor furniture and a bbq.
