The house presents as a pleasing mix of contemporary beach-house and plantation-style bungalow, reflecting a tropical lifestyle.
This is a fully self-contained house; simply unpack your bags and you are in your private tropical hideaway.
The house is open to the sea breezes, but if required there is ducted air-conditioning and fans in each room.
You may want to make use of the fully equipped family kitchen .... or perhaps today you will BBQ seafood or steaks with friends around the pool.

Allamanda House has 3 large beautiful light-filled bedrooms.

MAIN BEDROOM is a private oasis featuring a romantic Queen-size four poster bed with spacious ensuite bath/bathroom and connecting dressing room. Large size LCD TV, sliding door to garden.

KING ROOM or 2nd Bedroom, features a King-size ensemble bed, built-in robes & vanity. Close to Main Bathroom.

TWIN ROOM or 3rd Bedroom, features twin single beds & can be reconfigured to make KING size bed. This room is perfect for the children or sharing adults. Roll-away beds are also available for an extra child. Close to Main Bathroom.

THE BEST PART OF EACH DAY AT ALLAMANDA.....IS FOR ME ...... the early morning birdsong....lunch in the poolside pavillion...the beautiful afternoon light on the garden.....dinner under the stars....a quiet dip in the pool whenever I like.

Imagine waking up snug in your four poster bed, crisp white sheets, thick pillows and a balmy Whitsunday breeze, scented with frangipani, gently stirring the white voile curtains.

You have nothing to do except decide if you\'ll spend the day around your pool or choose from the many island activities.
Lazy morning coffees as you watch the sunrise over Catseye Bay, and contemplate a day on the water, sailing, snorkelling or fishing.

Relax on the day-bed around your private in-ground pool, read the paper, or select a book from our library, and catchup on that novel you have wanted to read.

HAMILTON ISLAND RESORT & MARINA ...are just down the road.

Allamanda guests are welcome to use the island facilities, including a number of eateries from take-away fish & chips, pizza, deli, to fine dining restaurants. Numerous bars, a Yacht Club and late night Club provide plenty of opportunity for social encounters.

The Marina Village has everything you need to cater for your stay, including a small supermarket, bakery, bank (National), ATM, bottle shop, newsagency, post office, doctors surgery, pharmacy, and numerous retail outlets.

And of course Hamilton Island is famous for its selection of activities to keep you on the go, or totally relax you.

MOTHERS PLEASE NOTE: Allamanda House is a privately gated residence that is perfectly designed for your family. Fully insect screened, all on one level and close to the Resort & beach. High quality child care facilities are available to you at reasonable rates and are only a phone call away. During peak season we suggest booking ahead.
The Clownfish Club offers care for children ranging from 6 weeks - 2 yrs; 2-4yrs and 5 -14 yrs. Private babysitting services can also be arranged through the Clownfish Club. They also offer a wonderful hire service of prams, back packs, toys and books.
