Description

This house has one of the best views in Patonga. Sit back and relax and enjoy sensational 180 degree, ever changing views of Patonga bay, no matter what the weather. A wall of folding doors fully opens the living space to the verandah where you are surrounded by the views of the bay, the creek and the bush. You enjoy complete privacy and the space to relax and unwind.

Two living areas ensures there is room for all. Ideal for a weekend away with friends or family. Open plan living includes a modern kitchen, large dining and living areas with a contemporary gas fire and see through blinds to draw in those winter months. In summer ceiling fans are there to keep you cool.

The main bedroom has an ensuite with spa bath. The bedroom features tall windows with views of bush, creek and beach. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and the third bedroom has double bunks. Two sofa beds (one found on the mezzanine level and another downstairs) plus spare mattresses are available for extra guests if pre-arranged. You access the mezzanine level via a pull down attic ladder.

Parking

Off street parking is available for approximately three to four cars. Be careful however of the bush turkeys who stroll around!

Patonga

Patonga is a delightful fishing village which provides the starting point for several wonderful bushwalks into the National Park. The creek is also an ideal area for both adults and children to explore. You can also come prepared to play tennis at the local courts found at the end of the beach while the children have fun in the playground situated next to the courts. These courts can be booked at the local shop. Bring your kayak too if you have one, for a wonderful paddle up the creek.
A daily ferry offers a trip across the bay to Palm Beach. A water taxi service is available if you need it.
For fine dining try Pearls on the Beach at Pearl Beach next door to Patonga, ten minutes away and situated on the beach.
Alternatively buy a quick dinner of fish and chips at the local shop or relax with casual dining at the new Patonga Tavern opposite the wharf. The Tavern is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner during holidays and weekends and provides a great view of the bay.

Guest Reviews

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Patonga views over a long weekend. We only wished we could stay longer and were reluctant to leave the house at all during our stay. The house was very well facilitated and beautifully furnished. We hope to pay another visit in the not too distant future. "

  • "Very nicely furnished and equipped house. A step above most other houses. The attic access is a bit odd..."

  • "Your beautiful, modern home was the perfect venue for our recent staff retreat. It is very private and very quiet. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own privacy when required and the living areas were perfect for when we were all together. The view is amazing. The modern kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Thank you once again for a memorable stay."

  • "This place has it all, spacious modern living area, plenty of room for a group and close to fantastic attractions. Being dog friendly as well we were able to have a good break without needing to find further accommodation for our four legged friend. .... I highly recommend this as a weekend getaway or a long stay any time of year 10/10 - Thanks Necia, we'll be back!"

  • "Fantastic modern house with great amenities - and that view! There was only 2 of us plus dog and I wouldn't hesitate to bring friends next time. The house layout allows for a number of people to have their own private space. Thoroughly recommended - we will definitely return"

  • "Thank you so much for a truly amazing weekend! The house was everything I'd hoped and more, and my friends were blown away that I'd found such a beautiful spot for my birthday weekend getaway! Patonga is the perfect getaway location - quick and easy to get to - but feels a million miles from Sydney. We've all fallen in love with it. The house was just gorgeous - perfect for our group of 8. We felt like we were in the lap of luxury! Thanks also for being so helpful and easy to deal with. We will definitely be back!"

  • "I concur with all the reviews, Patonga Views really is as good as it gets! We had a family reunion there and the house accommodated all ten adults (+1 toddler) without it ever feeling uncomfortable. Some chose to explore Patonga by foot (be prepared for a moderate 600m walk up a hill from the beach) and others were comfortable never leaving the house and relaxed with a book and enjoyed the magnificent view. The house is so flexible that it suited our large group perfectly but would feel just as comfortable for only two people. Patonga is an idyllic family escape. The new Patonga Beach Hotel serves basic meals (varying value depending on the chef) and is ideally located opposite the jetty. For children, there's a new adventure playground with BBQ facilities at the Patonga campgrounds. An alternative to the 90min drive from Sydney, is the 30min ferry trip from Palm Beach ($12 return Sep '08) This is highly recommended as a stress free means of arriving at Patonga. All up we had a highly relaxed and enjoyable stay at Patonga Views. Thank you Necia for answering all my questions prior to arriving. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for clean, modern, no stress holiday. We will be coming back as regulars! "

  • "My daughter, our dog and I had a wonderful holiday at Patonga Views. The house was clean, bright and very comfortable. We quickly felt very much at home. The view was perfect and certainly added to the relaxed ambience. The folding doors remained open most of the time so we could soak up the beauty of our surroundings. Patonga is a peaceful and picturesque location, with a pretty beach to walk along. Thank you Necia and Michael for a delightful getaway."

  • "Thank you Necia & Michael for yet another wonderful stay. The place has everything you could possibly need for a short or long get away. It was perfect for our annual girl's weekend away. We loved sitting on the deck admiring the view. We will be back soon."

  • "Patonga Views is the most wonderful holiday home in which to completely relax. When you open the French doors and look out at the amazing view right across to Palm Beach, it's like a postcard. The house is full of tasteful, modern furniture, fittings and accessories. The shelves are full of interesting books to read and board games to play and there are even stocks in the pantry and fridge to get you going. The best part was being able to have our dogs there with us. They absolutely adored our daily walks along Patonga beach, where you can watch the fishing boats trawling Broken Bay, collect pretty shells or watch the sea eagles circling above. It's a perfectly peaceful and picturesque holiday. Jackie R." "
