"Broomielaw Barn"

Description

"Broomielaw" is a 100 acre property on the Wingecarribee River seven kms from Berrima. Most of the property is still natural bush so kangaroos, wombats and bird-life abound. Platypus have been seen in the river which is a delightful walk from the cottage. Picnic baskets can be arranged should you wish to spend time by the river. Total privacy is guaranteed.

The cottage is fully self-contained with lounge area and bathroom downstairs and an open plan bedroom area upstairs. There is a Queen-size bed, a Double bed and a single bed upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs, all with crisp cotton bedlinen. A slow-combustion stove heats the cottage beautifully and there are also electric blankets on the beds. A barbecue, microwave, fridge, electric frypans, toaster etc. will enable you to prepare meals whenever.

A welcome hamper is provided including all your breakfast provisions and a few surprises.

Things to do or not!

A walk around the property or down to the river can be enjoyed, as can a game of tennis, should you so desire. There is also a rugby ground/cricket pitch for throwing a ball around. Or you can sit on the upstairs balcony and just view the goings-on below.

If the lure of the shops overcomes you, Berrima Village has many attractions including some fine restaurants, and Bowral is only a ten minute drive from Berrima
