Guest Reviews

  • "Staying on the farm was the best part of our holiday, we only wish we'd been there longer. It was the only time in a long time that our family felt real peace and quiet, we could hear ourselves think, and get back to the important basics in life. Christine and Ian are fantastic hosts, the house was well-stocked, beyond expectations, and was very clean and comfortable. Having lots of towels and a washing machine was a big practical bonus for a large family. We loved watching the cows being milked, the kids loved playing on the hay bales, and we recommend an extra visit to the fishery as well. Two of our kids caught their first ever fish, which was worth every penny, and was a healthy outdoor activity for our indoor kids. Can't wait to go back to Natone!!!!!!!!"

  • "Fantastic! Wonderful! The Best! We spent 3 weeks travelling around Tassie and I have to say the simple but amazing place was the best place we stayed. My father loved the fly fishing; my children loved watching the cows being milked; Mum and I loved the picturisque lush countryside and quiet. However what really made our stay memorable was Ian and Christine our hosts - they are very friendly and helpful and just down to earth lovely people. We will be back."

  • "Ideal family accommodation - great for those holidaying on budget. Lovely farm setting in a cosy house large enough for the whole family. Ample supply of goodies for breakfast so you won't start the day hungry. You can watch the cows being milked if you like or just sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. You won't get better than this for budget family accommodation! "

  • "My family loved staying at the Bed & Breakfast. Christine and Ian made us feel very welcome, telling us all the places of interest to see while we were there. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed seeing how the cows were milked. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back again."

  • "Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic, great view, very rural, very comfortable lodgings, lovely hosts. It's not The Ritz, but the best value for money, expect to eat in rather than eat out as local eateries are not overly close, but relax and enjoy the cows as they are right at your doorstep, completely recommend, we had a great time!"

  • "Fantastic! It was so peaceful! It was so wonderful to wake up to the sounds of cows mooing instead of horrible Sydney noises. I could sleep in knowing that I would wake up to birds singing in the trees, rolling green fields and cows quietly eating. The hosts are five star quality. They are genuinely friendly and are really excellent ambassadors for Tassie."

  • "Peaceful and quiet. The house is very comfortable and clean. The Hosts Christine and Ian are wonderful people who are more than willing to help with your needs. It is a home away from home and value for money is extremely good. For a quiet country holiday within close proximity to many wonderful Tasmanian tourist attractions I can highly reccommend Natone Hills Fishery B&B."
