Whether you catch the barge from Inskip Point or Hervey Bay, that\'s when your 4WD adventure to Fraser Island begins. From Inskip Point, you will travel for 55kms along golden beaches or from Hervey Bay you will travel through ever-changing vegetation till you reach Happy Valley.
Happy Valley is very laid-back but with all the mod cons you need. Surrounded by sand dunes and a bush that is home to more than 200 species of bird and animal life, it is certainly paradise for all visitors.
With Happy Valley being so central on the island, your days will be filled with endless activities. From swimming in the refreshing waters of Eli Creek, or picnicing at Central Station and Lake McKenzie. Then of course there are days of just throwing a line in along the beaches to catch the night\'s dinner.
The unit runs on a 24hr solar power system. Only the electrical appliances that are supplied are to be used,except of course, medical equipment. OTHER ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES eg. CAR FRIDGES, IRONS, HAIRDRYERS, FRYING PANS ARE TOTALLY BANNED, AS THEY WILL CAUSE A DISRUPTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY.
Bedroom 1 - queen size bed.
Bedroom 2 - 1x double bunks, 1x single bed
Doonas, pillows and blankets are supplied for each bed.
