Sunset Retreat

Description

Sunset Retreat is an open plan B & B/ self contained unit with plenty of room to move. Attached to our home but with your own private facilities and entrance. A large open plan living area, separate bedroom with a full size bathroom, kitchenette and dining. Outside is an undercover BBQ area.Whether you want to just sit and relax on the verandah, take a stroll into town, along the beach, take a tour at the Penguin Centre, put the boat in and do a spot of fishing or have a round of golf. It is all within walking distance.
Penneshaw is the "Gateway to Kangaroo Island". Why not start or finish your holiday here. We are only minutes away from the ferry terminal and a short drive to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse and wineries.

"The photos do not do the accomodation justice. The rooms are spotless, there is a lovely big bath (very rare in aus) and separate shower, lovely view of the sea, full guide details of the island. It was home from home, we both were so relaxed and wished we had planned longer to stay at the Sunset Retreat. "

"Accommodation was lovely. very clean and very spacious. we had everything we needed as well as a lovely view over Christmas cove. The owners were very nice and helpful with good tips on what to see and where we could eat. Location was also great - an easy 10 minute walk into the town and down to the Penguin tour/beach! and within 5 minutes of the ferry terminal. although it was one of the more expensive B&B style places we stayed in, for Kangaroo Island it was quite reasonable and we thought that Sunset Retreat offered very good value for money." 7/1/08
