'Cockle Shells' is part of "Bayside Retreat" located between Middleton Beach and Emu Point - Two of Albany's most popular family beaches. Both have cafe or luxury dining, hire of recreational water equipment, boating, fishing, Vacswim lessons available, expansive playgrounds and long sandy beaches. Access is on the dual use pathway 20 metres from Cockle Shells, or along the beach 50 metres from Cockle Shells, or by road. The beach behind Cockle Shells is 50 metres walk and is known as the 'backbeach'. Great for swimming, surfing, boogy boarding, body surfing, running, wallking, building sand castles...

Cockle Shells is fully self contained (including full linen) with three bedrooms - two with Queen size beds and one with two singles. New (built 2005), open, modern living/dining. The main bed has en-suite and walk in robe. Secondary rooms have hanging and/or storage, with access to bathroom (including bath). Built in linen and pantry. All modern conveniences incl TV, DVD, stereo, washing machine, dryer, reverse cycle air conditioning. Basic cooking facilities including microwave, also ironing facilities, outdoor furniture. Non smoking and cleaning is non chemical based. Herbal teas, tea, coffee, milk and aromatherapy soaps provided on arrival.
