Description

Centrally located in the Swansea township, this beautiful house with its panoramic views and sunlit rooms is the perfect way to enjoy the east coast of Tasmania.

The house, set on half an acre with a rambling garden, hedges, lawn and fruit trees, has a warm welcoming feel, more home than house. Relax on the balcony having a BBQ, overlooking Swansea and its picturesque surrounds. The meals area is bright and sunny and the kitchen is well equipped. By day the livingroom is flooded with natural light and has views to the water and the Hazards in the distance. In the evening the room is warmed by the glow of a wood fire.

A short stroll down the end of street brings you to the beach, restaurants and cafes or onto Morris's General Store for all your shopping and fishing needs. Take a drive to Freycinet and Wine Glass Bay, Kate's Berry Farm, the magnificent coastal road north and south or relax in town with a game of golf overlooking the water, or a stroll along nine mile beach.

  • "What a fantastic house....we were so comfortable with our children....everthing you could possibly think of was there...it is so tastefully decorated...and absolutely spotless!...this really impressed us....as we are fusspots!..we could stroll to everything...beach, parks, cafes and restaurants....(some great ones)....there was only one problem with us....we wished we had booked it for at least a week and used it as our base to explore the wonderful East Coast of Tassie...it would have been so much easier and relaxing.....next year!!!"

  • "This was a great base for us to explore Tasmania's East Coast. The house is well funished with everything you need to self cater. There are also two great restaurants in Swansea if you want to go out.It takes a while for the fire to heat the house, but once it did, we were very comfortable in the Tasmanian winter."
