  • "This is our third time at Talbingo and on our last visit we spotted this beautiful cottage and decided to book it for a week. It is very nice, clean and tidy; heating is good, plenty of room for large family, nice family games, clean bathroom. Views are nice from the sun-room while we were having breakfast; restaurants are walking distance from the cottage, very quiet place if you like to have a rest from crazy living in big cities. Thank you to the owners A & L for keeping prices affordable so we can enjoy winter holidays. It is definitely best value for money by far from Talbingo to Adaminaby. Highly recommend, and looking forward to another winter at your place."

  • "Cottage was very clean. The sunroom/dining area was nice and warm and had great views of the mountain and river. The property is fenced at the front so the kids could run all the way around the house without us worrying that they'll run into the street. The neighbours were lovely and helpful. There was no mobile reception inside the house but apparently there's a spot in Talbingo with mobile reception? There is a reverse cycle aircon in the main living area, which was great. We brought our own fan heater to warm up our room at night. We really enjoyed our stay, had really good weather for the whole week, and we'd definitely come back again the next time we want to go to the snow! "

  • "What a fantastic cottage. It was clean, the beds were great & plenty of them & it was a perfect size for us. We were 4 adults & 2 kids with a small dog. The yard was lock-up so the dog could stay outside too. The cottage is fully euipped with everything except of course your linen, but everything else you need is there. Short walk to all the town has to offer & great fishing. The price was very reasonable too. The only thing i would add would be a small TV in one of the bedrooms so the kids could watch TV elsewhere. Would definately stay again."
