Scamander Beach Shack is a short drive to the Bay of Fires, St Helens and Binalong Bay - Tasmanian accommodation located opposite Tasmania's premium east-coast surfing beach. Uninterrupted views of waves and the Scamander River mouth provide breathtaking scenery sitting in the comfort of your accommodation.
Scamander Beach Shack is the ideal cosy getaway for a couple, keen surfers or fisherpersons! Alternatively, this small shack is family-friendly, suiting a young family of 2 adults and 2 or 3 small children quite comfortably.
The shack has been refurbished with new carpet and new furnishings. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. A heat pump quickly warms the shack in winter.
Walk for miles along the white sandy beaches and take in the pristine blue-green crystal waters! Look out for dolphins from the verandah! Catch a bream off the the old Scamander bridge or try your luck at beach fishing!

This is the best equipped cottage that we have ever rented; everything is there for the amateur cook and even the professional one! The "Shack" is not your average rental, one can feel that it is lived in and very much loved; in one word, it is a home! And one can feel also that the hosts care about the comfort of their guests.
