The 4 bedroom stone cottage and stables have been renovated to provide comfortable accommodation in a picturesque setting. 4 bedrooms in the house have 4 queen beds and the converted stables has 2 doubles, 2 singles and a futon sofa. There is a new ensuite in the main bedroom with new bathroom and seperate toilet in the house and also in the stables.
The property is set on 16 acres adjoining the state forest on one side and the Macdonald River on the other. Go for bushwalks, visit historic St Albans and Wollombi, bring the boat and laze away a weekend on the river or just sit on the deck and watch the time tick by.
Enjoy cooking your meals on the BBQ sitting back and gaze at the stars as day turns into night in this quiet valley.
Swallows nest is only 1 hour from Dural across the Webbs Creek Ferry at Wisemans Ferry and 10 km up the sealed St Albans Road. The ferry runs 24 hours for your convenience.
Prices quoted are for up to 6 people. Extra persons are $35pn each. (plus a complimentary night in non peak periods if available).
Public Holiday long weekends for 3 nights are $1300 for 6 people plus $35pp pn (plus a complimentary night if available).
NB linen is NOT provided unless you are an overseas/interstate visitor. Cost is $15ph for these guests.

One of the best properties we have visited.The log fire the spa and above all the setting make this house top value in winter or summer.
The bedrooms are well appointed all four have comfy beds that are hotel class it really is a home from home we are trying to organise another visit. Just try not to tell too many people !!!!!!

We had international visitors who loved the stay at Swallows Nest. Great location, so close to Sydney yet you really felt as though you were well and truly out of the city and great house, very comfortable.

As a group of friends, we visited the property for a long weekend. The view was just beautiful, and some of us enjoyed bush walking, canoeing in the river, fishing and a trip into Wisemans Ferry. The house was lovely and the photos do not do it justice. All of the rooms were clean and presented so nicley. It was a wonderful place to get away. Thankyou.
