Melbourne is the cultural centre of Australia and it could be all yours in exclusive centrally located East Melbourne. Livia is located just minutes walk from the MCG and the Rod Laver arena. If sport is not your cup of tea then visit the Fitzroy Gardens and Captain Cook's Cottage, or the Exhibition Buildings and their magnificent parklands. All on your doorstep. For the shopaholics Richmond has the most renowned shopping streets for the bargain hunters.
This inner city house is ideal for 2 couples and children in Melbourne for the football. In a weekend the footy fans can get up to 5 games in.
Livia is tastefully decorated with French antique furniture. The house comprises two bedrooms both with bathrooms the upstairs bedroom also has its own balcony. The downstairs living area opens out with folding doors onto a lovely courtyard. A touch of France in the centre of Melbourne.

This substantial 2 bedroom solid brick home with second storey extension offers a magnificent location, flexibility and a wealth of opportunity to explore Melbourne.
In extremely good condition and maintaining all the character and charm of the period the property is rich in detail and benefits from high ceilings and generously proportioned rooms. An abundance of natural light is evident throughout.
A magnificent lounge living area is adorned with polished timber floorboards and a superb original fireplace along with French doors to the rear courtyard garden. There are 2 bedrooms consisting of a Bathroom and a double and single bed downstairs and upstairs another Bathroom has a double and a steel frame bunk bed of 2 singles with a fold out single as an alternative option. The single beds fold outs are conversion type the doubles beds are French Antique.
We suggest that 6 people are about the limit but there are more beds.

TRANSPORT
Trams- Victoria Street 100meters buy a day Pass around $6 to $7 at the Supermarket (for use on all Public Transport). We can get these for you in adavance if you request it
Bikes- 2 push bikes can be provided at no charge for the energetic.
Trains The city loop underground is the Richmond station on Victoria Street 300 meters from the house. Check map there are 3 Richmond stations so get the one on Victoria Street.
FOOD Asian of all sorts is on Victoria Street. High lights are Pacific Sea Food House
Spanish is on Johnson between Brunswick and Nicholson
Italian Marios on Brunswick (Alternative to Carlton for less of a tourist experience)
African- Lower end of Brunswick
Indian this end of Bourke Street.
Coffee- right next door to the house, but try St Ali in South Melbourne rated in the top 10 Coffee Houses in the World!!!!!! Or just 1km from the house Veneziano on Bond Street Abbortsford they have both the Champion Australian Barrista (World Championship Runnerup 2008)and No 3 as well.

Distance to telstra dome walking is aprox 4km ie 45 min walk ( I walk it reguarly)or catch the 109 tram down Victoria street and get off at spencer street. Around 80 Albert Street is the starting address(Not exact number for security reasons). Cost a day pass on trams / trains is bests way around aprox $6 for day( if you want us to provide these we can arrange in advance for you or you can purchase at Supermarket 400meters from house or on tram if you have enough coins as they do not take notes or credit cards here)per person otherwsie a cab to telstra dome costs $10 to $12 and back from Dome add another $3 due to traffic. Similarly the train station at North Richmond is 500 meters from house on the Epping Line and that delivers you to the Dome and home from Dome(Souther Cross Station)
Parking is available via a parking pass to use for on street parking. This pass enables you to use the street at no charge and no time limit with the exception of clearway times. Please note the street in front of the house is a clearway in the afternoon on weekdays the otherside of the street is available for parking 24/7.
