Casuarina Drive has a lengthy walking path extending for kilometres in either direction, one as far as Lee Point Nature Reserve (almost all beachfront walking) and the other towards Darwin as far as the city centre. Access to the walking path is right across the road outside the entrance gates to McKay Gardens.
