Description

Stunning ocean views. This house is perfect all year round with log fire to enjoy in winter. It has been completely renovated including two new bathrooms (with separate bath and shower) and kitchen.There is a queen bedroom upstairs. Downstairs there is a second queen room, one double room and a bunk room with four bunks . One bathroom is upstairs and one downstairs. There are two separate lounge rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs with TV/DVD. There is a 10 seater table on the balconly with BBQ. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, microwave and more than enough crockery, cookware, serving dishes etc. A real home from home. There are bi-fold doors both up and downstairs which open right up - all doors and windows are fitted with mosquito screens. There is also an outdoor hot/cold shower. Linen and towels not provided.

"Our extended family all fitted into the Geckos rest with room to spare. There was ample living space, the bedrooms are all generous and the two large bathrooms were a major plus! The kitchen is particularly well equipped and we never ran out of cups or glasses - it has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a large group. "

"Gecko's rest was the perfect retreat for a house with kids. We went away for our daughters second birthday and she absolutely loved being in a new place. The house was so well equipped with all the baby gear as we also had a 5 month old which makes the packing up so much easier. I really enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and made making birthday cakes a real treat. The best part for me was the enormous balcony - that was very safe - but great for big groups and easy bbq dinners. The surrrounding beaches were fantastic for spotting fish, crabs and lots of wildlife, watching the pelicans feeding - which made it a great and safe place for the littlies. We would certainly recommend Gecko's rest, not only for the fantastic house with excellent and stylish facillities but also for the fabulous location and ease of holiday. We look forward to more good times there!"
