I loved it!
The cottage was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The gardens should rate at 5 or 6 or even 10. They promote privacy, peace, rest, healing and joy at their beauty. We hope to come again next year.

We loved staying at Shambala. A great place to relax and get away from it all. A quiet and peaceful location, well located, bus stop very close by. We loved the uniqueness of our cottage, the outdoor shower was a treat. Good value. We would definitely stay again. (Family with 2 children, age 6 and 8)

We stayed for 1 week at the Shambhala Retreat at Nelly Bay {Magnetic Island} .It was a fantastic cottage and a delightful garden with a very nice barbecue area .We enjoyed every minute staying there .Very peaceful and we intend coming back again .We have travelled all over Aussie but this was the best place we stayed so far no doubt .Jack and Tina Oostra.

We loved staying here!! It was the perfect retreat for us for our stay on Maggie Island. We really felt like we were 'island' living as this retreat offered beautiful tropical gardens, a pool, very secluded and the accommodation was very comfortable! Can't wait to stay here again :-)

Very restful and comfortable. We arrived early and staff were very helpful - let us leave our luggage while they finished preparing the cottage for us. Good value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Shambhala Retreat. Very peaceful and relaxing. The Balinese style gardens were beautiful, with the natural flora and fauna at our doorstep! The unit was fully equipped and decorated beautifully. We especially enjoyed the 'outdoor' bathroom also, very tranquil!
