Coomba Park is located on Wallis Lake which is 26 kms long and dotted with 30 islands and is part of the Great Lakes.
The perfect base for the boating enthusiast (ample parking for the boat and cars) who enjoy fishing, waterskiing, cruising or simply relaxing.
Local shop - located Coomba Park opened 7 days: general grocery items, magazines, newspapers, fuel (petrol & diesel), gas and liquor licence with a good selection of dinner wines and beer.

Recreational Fishing and Boaters' paradise

Various recreation activities include water skiing, fishing, boating, canoeing. Park your boat in the secure rear yard and launch your boat with ease. A small boat can be launched from the the reserve opposite; larger boats can use the well appointed boat ramp located 300 metres away.
Open sea fishing is accessible 10 mintues by boat via the Forster / Wallis Lake entrance.

Other activities for the family:
Picnic areas: For family lakeside entertainment there is a picnic area & children's playground located near the boat ramp that also includes a tidal pool, BBQ and toilet facilities.
There are lakeside paths and extended tracks for walkers and bike riders. The serious cyclist have many kilometres of scenic country roads to meander along at their leisure.
Tennis Courts are available for hire.

Wallingat National Park boasts various tracks suitable for 4X4 which borders Coomba and Wallis Lake.

Wildlife and natural beauty

Birds and wildlife are abundant throughout Coomba and surrounding areas. The reserve opposite that meets the lake allows you to enjoy the experience and ambience without leaving the comfort of the patio. Rich and varied birdlife include; pelicans,sea eagles and many species of parrots. The local kangaroos, deer and wallabies come daily to feed.
The lake has a resident pod of dolphins who usually visit daily to catch dinner and play in the calm waters of the lake. The dolphins are usually sighted early morning and mid afternoon.
Don't miss the opportunity to view the clear night sky - the clarity is amazing. Again the wildlife are very active in the evening with kangaroo and deer often paying a visit after nightfall.
