A private and peaceful Hinterland Retreat 20 minutes from Byron Bay, one minute drive to the Federal Village. 17 minutes from Bangalow and Mullumbimby. The centre of the universe to all who live here.

The Byron Bay Hinterland provides a unique opportunity to explore the world heritage Nightcap National Park and its rainforests. There are four picnic areas within the park, the closest to Federal being Minyon Falls with great walking tracks. You can find a local market on every weekend, farmers markets are early mornings in close proximity. Head down to the beach for a surf and experience the vibrant lifestyle of Byron Bay.

Kurrawong offers a unique getaway in a quiet country lane on 3.5 acres of open grass and shady tree areas. There is plenty of space to play cricket or footy with the family, grab a chair and sit under a tree for a quiet read or stay cool around the pool.

The Main House

A great opportunity to get the family together, or for 4 couples to share, sleeps up to 9 people.

A mix of contemporary to country classic furniture, with leadlight windows and doors leading onto verandahs, the house has a relaxing environment.

The master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite opens onto a large private verandah through leadlight doors.

There are 2 other bedrooms, one with a queen bed and ensuite, other with double bed, single bed and down the hall is a large bathroom.

Open plan living with contemporary loungeroom has a reverse cycle air-conditioner, fireplace, Plasma TV, DVD, Austar, music CDs and a i-pod dock speakers.

A well equipped country style kitchen and large dining and bar area leads out to the back verandah.

A room with Computer/internet WiFi access, local phone and exercise equipment is also in the house. My home is pet friendly and filtered rainwater is throughout the property.


Outside between the house and the Studio are cane lounges and wooden shutters look out to the tropical garden. Great for summer breezes and night time entertainment.

Enjoy the outdoor barbeque and dining setting, relax and splash around the pool, and at night marvel at the stars.

This spacious bright living area is cool and casual with lounge (sofa bed), TV DVD, video player, CD player and bedroom with queen bed,large bathroom plus kitchen. Also has reverse cycle air-conditioner.
