Guest Reviews

  • "The house is beautifully presented, very well equipped and the beds very comfortable. We took advantage of the warmth of the chimera on the deck and enjoyed the serenity of the view. There was plenty of room which, as a family of five adults, we found important. Close to all Tasman Peninsula tourist spots but very peaceful outlook. We loved it!"

  • "It was so relaxing with no one around. The view was magnificent. We went for some lovely walks along the river and saw some great wildlife. The children loved all of the things there at the house for them to play with. A really well presented house. We want to come back tomorrow!!!!"

  • "Wow. What a fantastic place. We loved the accommodation... perfectly situated and with everything we could possibly need included, and some! We especially appreciated all the toys, games and books for the kids. Not a single moment of boredom! We will definitely be back.. next time for longer."

  • "Staying at Dilligaf was the perfect end to our holiday around Tasmania. We toured around Tassie clockwise starting in Hobart and ending up at Dilligaf for our last few nights. It was like walking into heaven, particularly since we had been go,go,go for two weeks. Peace and quiet! Style and all the comforts of home. Not far away was Port Arthur and we were able to do all the tourist things within a stones throw. Loved it!!!"

  • "A perfect location - we had a wonderful time. We thoroughly enjoyed lazing on the deck and our young son was very excited to be catching flathead from the rocks out in front. The holiday house had a brilliant ambiance and was very functional. Great to have all the mod cons - just like home."

  • "Beautiful, modern little house with great views. Perfect location for Port Arthur, Devils Kitchen, Tasmanian Devil Park and all the other attractions on the Tasman Peninsula."

  • "A new, very clean and modern house, with a big deck out the front offering grand views across the water. "All mod cons" - genuine full kitchen, enough crockery, cutlery and furniture, plenty of fluffy towels... and thankfully no TV. On a small block of land, so the neighbour's shack is close by, but not obtrusively so. Easy access to the water (20 m across the road), but it is not a beach - that's just a few minutes back in Eaglehawk Neck itself. Some noise from the highway, which runs along the back boundary, but almost nothing at night. Good-size lounge/dining room, big bathroom, and OK but not huge bedrooms (it is a holiday house after all). Excellent selection of games and vinyl records!! Very helpful owners. "

  • "Excellent accomodation - everything new. Right on the Bay and just a short drive to Port Arthur and the ghost tour, then back to roast marshmallows in the potbelly stove on the deck. Great weekend."

  • "A beautiful, peaceful setting and a superbly equipped and comfortable house. We found Dilligaf to be the perfect spot and a terrific base for our explorations of the peninsula. We will certainly be back again and give it the highest recommendation."
