Getting To / From Coral Sea Resort

The Whitsunday Coast Airport (also known as Proserpine Airport) is serviced by Virgin Blue & Jetstar. The airport is located a 25-30 minute drive from the resort. We can arrange one way or return transfers if required either via Microbus (minibus) or via Limousine. We require full flight details to reserve seating.

Hamilton Island Airport is serviced by Virgin Blue, Jetstar and QantasLink and is approximately a 45-60 minute boat launch to the mainland. We can arrange one way or return transfers if required and require full flight details to reserve seating.

Train: Proserpine Train Station is a 2-25 minute drive to Coral Sea Resort. If transfers are required please contact our tour desk.

Self Drive: Coral Sea Resort is located a 25 minute drive from the Bruce Highway. Once you pass Abel Point Marina on the left hand side (once entering Airlie Beach) then turn left into Summit Avenue, go to the end of the avenue, turn right and Coral Sea Resort is on the left hand side out on the point. We offer complimentary undercover parking for inhouse guests.

Room Descriptions & Types

CORAL SEA SPA SUITE: The Coral Sea Spa Suites are built on the high watermark on the absolute oceanfront. They feature a king size bed, a luxurious outdoor balcony spa and double hammock all overlooking magnificent sea views.

BAY VIEW SPA SUITE: The Bayview Spa Suites are located on the oceanfront. They feature a large private balcony, a queen size bed and some rooms with a fold out sofa bed and an internal spa bath with timber louvers opening into the room.

OCEAN VIEW ROOM: The Ocean View Rooms have a queen size bed; some rooms with an additional queen bed and feature a private balcony with beautiful sea views.

GARDEN VIEW ROOM: The Garden View Rooms have a queen size bed, some rooms with an additional queen bed and garden views.

Coral Sea Resort also has self-contained 1,2,3 bedroom apartments & penthouses.
