Description

This Kite’s Nest Nature Cabin is located in the resort’s Boyd precinct. . The cabin’s design ensures that the surrounding bushland encompasses and feels part of the living space with the screened verandahs, yet at the same time providing protection from local wildlife and the elements. The cabin has 2 1/2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a light modern interior, and fully equipped kitchen. As a resort guest, you will have access to all the resort facilities and as there are very limited motorised vechicles on the resort the kids can feel safe either on foot or using the resort bikes. The wallabies and birdlife are there to enjoy along with the eucalyptus woodlands and rainforest trees where the Eco-Cabins are situated. Wake up to the peace of nature and the sound of waves from the nearby surf beach. Perfect for a family, couple or friends having time out from the fast pace world of the Gold Coast mainland.

Getting there

SOUTH STRADBROKE ISLAND is situated only a few kilometers offshore from Queenslands Gold Coast. Regular coaches link Brisbane (60km)and Cooloongatta (28km) airports to the luxury Hope Harbour Marina Passenger Transit Terminal 10 minutes off the Pacific Motorways Enjoy a relaxing 40 minute ferry ride across the calm Broadwater (Hope Island) to COURAN COVE MARINA. A regular ferry timetable allows Gold Coast Tourist attractions to be easily accessed for half or full day trips. If you are travelling by car, a secure private car park is available for guests at a minimal cost located adjacent to Hope Harbour Marina. If you are travelling by private boat, marina berths and facilities are available upon request. We can assist with all your transfer requirements.

Transport timetable and costs

Fast Cat Ferry
Couran Cove Island Resort is just a 40 minute Fast Cat Ferry from the Departure Terminal at Hope Harbour Marina, John Lund Drive, Hope Island on the northern end of the Gold Coast or only 50 minutes drive south of Brisbane.

Island Transfers:
Transfer to the island is by fast cat passenger ferry, trip takes approximately 40 minutes.
Cost is $45 per Adult return, $25 per Child return, $125 per Family return.

Car Parking:
Available at Departure Terminal, Hope Harbour Marina, at a rate of $5.00 per vehicle per day to a maximum of $25.00 per stay.

Airport Transfers: Transfers can be arranged to/from Brisbane and Coolangatta Airports to/from Hope Harbour Marina. Costs is $44 one- way to/from Brisbane Airport ($37 child 3-12yrs); $27 one-way to/from Coolangatta Airport ($21 child 3-12yrs). Return transfers also available. Operated by Brunel Worldwide Chauffeur Drive.
