Calypso beach house was a magnificent, spacious, well facilitated and clean house. As you enter the house we were welcomed with a complimentary wine and the rooms and living spaces were all clean and nice. He backyard was one of the best places and it overlooks the rainforest track to Lighthouse beach and the pool was clean and you could overlook the wonderful scenery of the backyard and pool from two separate balconies on the second floor. The kitchen was well equipped with many facilities such as a dishwasher and filtered water and large areas for cooking and clean pots, plates and storage areas. The bathrooms were also large and nice and the laundry had a washing machine and dryer. The house was close to the spectacular beach, woolworths and only 15 minutes away from the heart of Port Macquarie where activities from camel riding and koala hospital were great attractions. I recommend this house for young adults and families for a nice getaway in a beautiful house with beautiful views.

As soon as we arrived we knew we were in for a great holiday. From the impressive outside with the beautiful gardens to the spacious modern interior it was everything we were looking for and more. There were twelve of us in the house, 8 adults and 4 children and everything was very well laid out - we were able to enjoy our time together as well as be able to spend some quiet time if we wished. Everyone had a fabulous time. It is a perfect holiday getaway.

The photo's really don't do the property justice, it's better!!!!!!! Absolute beach front, minutes walk to tavern and shopping village, perfect for our group.

Great for extended family reunions - our age range from 18 mths to 70, joining up UK and Aussie branches! Plenty of space to provide excellent group time - around pool and table - as well as enough privacy for quiet moments with babies. Pool is perfect for swimmers but attention needed for babies. And access to a deserted beach (great for kite flying too) very convenient. We ALL loved it ... now, that's a first !!

Our 3 families enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Calypso house. It had all the facilities we could possibly need and is in a very handy location. There was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing as well as for 12 of us to have meals and activities together. Everyone is keen to visit again in the summer time so we can enjoy the pool as well! Thanks so much for providing such a relaxing and luxurious accommodation.

8 of us stayed at Calypso Beach House for Anzac Weekend in April, the property is fab and in a great location, the house was clean, the beds and furniture very comfortable - we could have settled in for a lot longer than 3 nights thats for sure!!. Everything you need is up the road, supermarket, coffee shop, bottle shop etc. All in all a great weekend was had by all in the party. The one small issue we all had was that the the kitchen was not well enough equiped for out particular group (as we love to cook), it would have been great if some of the basics were there like salt, pepper, oil and a bottle opener (we couldn't find it if there was one and had to go next door to ask them to open our bottles of wine!), this would just have made it a real home from home experience.

The house was a spectacular sight! We were so comfortable and we really made ourselves at home. Cooking for 11 people in a beautiful and fully equiped kitchen meant that no one went hungry. The 2 minute walk to the shops also added to the convenience. I would definately recommend this holiday house to any group who want to escape and unwind.

Beautiful house and well kept. Our group of 12 absolutely loved it. The rooms are all large and spacious while the lounge rooms and decking area are a perfect place to relax on a summer day. A great house with plenty of room for everyone. Good location on beach, close to shops and a short drive to Laurieton or Port Macquarie. We had nine adults in the house and everyone was happy! This was our second visit to the Calypso house, and it was just as great as the first time we went.

Calypso is an amazing place to stay. No detail has been overlooked in the construction of this beach house that screams luxury!
From the point of arival we were blown away by the beautiful design of the house. Walking through the front doors you are immediately struck with spacious oppulance. (The photos look amazing, but the real thing is even better!)
You would hardly have known we had 10 people there, as there are so many areas to 'hang out' that everyone had their chance to relax. Then even when hang out together we had the choice of two cinema rooms, an upper balcony, huge dining table, hige out door under cover dining table, around the pool or the beach.. all with plenty of room to accomodate all of us.
The direct access to miles upon miles of vast white sand made for perfect beach cricket and football, most times with out another soul in sight. One of our days produced some nice swell and offshore winds, and we had some excellent waves at the reef to the south of the house. (don't forget your board!)
Overall this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have had in many years. The location is perfect, and any description of the house just can't do it justice. You'll be blown away!

CALYPSO WAS THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR A REUNION OF FRIENDS THAT HAD NOT BEEN TOGETHER FOR OVER 25 YEARS, VENUE IDEAL, LOCATION PERFECT. CALYPSO AS WELL AS BEING SPACIOUS AND SUPERBLY EQUIPPED, IS ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE 12 ADULTS COMFORTABLY, WAS SO WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY FOR ME, DOWNSTAIRS WAS COMPLETELY LEVEL AND I WAS ABLE TO ACCESS THE BEAUTIFUL POOL AREA AS WELL, IT IS SUPERB AND RECEIVED PLAUDITS FROM ALL THE GUESTS, MOST FROM INTERSTATE.

The home and location were just perfect for our extended family of 6 adults and 6 children. All the fittings and furnishings were stylish, fucntional and first-rate. The decking and pool area was perfect for lazy days, and the private access to the beach was terrifically convenient. The view of the ocean from the master bedroom and en-suite was a bonus. We'll be back.

Fantastic house, we all had an amazing weekend. Swam everyday on lighthouse beach and in the pool. Enjoyed DVD's with the surround sound, BBQ's by the pool, and had a great visit to Cassigrain Vineyard [ thanks for telling us about the 10 seater taxi so we could all sample the wine]. we really didn't want to go home.

Our family - 6 adults and 4 children - had an amazing time at Calypso and cannot fault the accommodation, luxury fittings and location so close to the beach and set in the tropical gardens. A great house with lots of space for everyone! Lots of living space & 3 large bathrooms! The pool area is very nice too. The beach access is not very good due to the steep decline & the rocks, it is best to use the Lake for swimming (which is only a 5 minute walk).
