Moontide is a light filled two storey renovated 60's house.The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a large open plan living/kitchen/dining area.
Upstairs has one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds.There is a large bathroom upstairs with a deep spa bath.The kitchen is well stocked with all the usual appliances, dishwasher, toaster, blender, rice cooker, etc. The open plan living area has a large and comfortable sofa. Downstairs is a bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with 2 double bunks and a TV area for kids to hang out in on rainy days. There is also a 2nd bathroom downstairs so there won't be any queues for a shower.
In the large sized yard there is a patio with a bbq and table and chairs for alfresco dining and plenty of space for kids to run around. The yard is fully fenced and the has a lockable front gate. There is also an outdoor hot-cold shower for a rinse off after the beach.
Moontide is really livable and great for 2 families.
The street address is 3 Worrigee rd, Currarong.
You will need to bring your own linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, t-towels, hand towels) unless you would like us to supply linen at $40 for one couple and $15 per extra person . This includes the preparation of all required beds and washing of linen after.
There are doonas, cotton blankets and pillows provided.
Also board games, books, and DVD`s/playstation for those rainy days.
We require 50% deposit upon placing a booking and the balance to be paid 7 days to arrival.
There is a minimum 2 night stay.
One of the best things about Currarong is that it is still a sleepy fishing village. Despite being only 2 1/2 hrs drive from Sydney, the town hasn't been overdeveloped and has a very relaxed feel. Another great thing is it's absolutely beautiful pristine beaches. Moontide is walking distance to two gorgeous beaches both of which are north facing so you can catch the sun all day and are really safe for swimming with kids.
Jervis bay is only a 10 minute drive with another 6 beaches accessible including the divine Honeymoon Bay. You will be spoilt for choice and you can always find a beach protected from the wind. You can spend the day exploring the many rock pools or bush walk on Beecroft headland. It is a fishing paradise and is also a top spot for surfing and rock climbing which are popular sports in the area.
In town is legendary "Zacs" fish and chip shop where you won't find any fresher. They catch their own fish and cook it fresh that day. There is also a general store incorporating a bottle shop to cover basics.
