St Kilda Area Guide

Ideal for travellers, St Kilda is easily accessible by tram, bus or from the airport. A vibrant multicultural suburb of Melbourne, St Kilda is one of Melbourne's favourites - walking, cycling, roller blading etc - an eclectic mix of activities is available. Bustling Acland Street is located nearby; here you can shop, relax, sip a latte; indulge in one of those decadently delicious Acland Street cakes, enjoy a eal, people watch, or just wander, browse and immerse yourself in teh atmosphere of Melbourne's favourite strip. All year round, sports fans can select from a smorgasbord of events, such as the Melbourne Grand Prix at nearby Albert Park, cricket or Aussie Rules football, at the 'G', the Australian Open at the Tennis Centre or football at Telstra Dome.
Water fun is only a 'swim' away, with St Kilda Beach, salt water baths and the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, located at Albert Park. Luna Park with its laughing face icon is just nearby.
