Description

'The Summer House' is a beautiful and charming, early 1900's home set on over an acre of lawn and garden in the historical town of Port Macquarie. Koalas and wildlife inhabit the many trees on the property.

Brand new to the Ozstays site. Fully self containted, very spacious and newly refurbished, the home will comfortably sleep 14. Ideally set up for two or three families - the ground floor has 4 bedrooms, with two of these bedrooms accessing a wide verandah through beautiful french doors.

Upstairs is a very large fifth bedroom setup for the kids - sleeping 5+.

There is a kids TV/DVD room with games and bean bags to lounge around, and a separate large living room with TV/Video/DVD and stereo.

The kitchen is a large country kitchen with dining table, microwave, fridge, stove, oven and all required cooking needs. From the kitchen you access an enclosed verandah with outdoor dining and BBQ facilities.

There are two bathrooms and two toilets. A laundry with washing machine, iron and board.

Parking will easily accommodate five cars off-street.

The lively town centre of Port Macquarie is a five minute drive and Town Beach is an 8 minute drive. The Summer House is close to Port Macquarie Racecourse.

Activities in the Port Macquarie region vary widely and include surfing, fishing, boating, sky diving, horse riding, golf, diving/snorkelling, whale/dolphin watching, pampering, go-karting, tennis, wine tasting, camel riding, art galleries and the list goes on.

Guest Reviews
First of all, I was surprised to find accomodation that catered for so many people! My wife and I, accompanied by our three kids and their small children enjoyed a great family weekend at the "Summer House". The kitchen was large enough for us all to eat together, the bedrooms spacious, the loft beds terrific, and the two lounge areas a "god-send". We were fortunate with the fine weather so the kids could also enjoy the very "neat but user-friendly" surrounds. The toilets separated from the bath rooms are very handy for small children, and although a large house, the gas heating in the lounge rooms provided a cosy end to each day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the grandkids have already started asking as to when we can return to the "Summer House". I feel sure that we will return and would recommend this clean and well looked after house to those looking for comfortable accomodation for a large group at a very reasonable rate
Many thanks Karen!

Beautiful old house, most suitable for a large gathering with an attic bedroom for the kids to sleep in. Lovely surroundings and the koala was a bonus!

Couldn't have asked for a better house and set up. Easily accommodated 3 families (6 adults and 9 kids) and provided an excellent base from which to explore Port Macquarie. It's the little touches that set the place apart - a large family sized fridge, a dishwasher, large kitchen, a few supplied DVDs, seperate living room areas for parents and kids and a good sized BBQ and eating area. We will definitely stay at the Summer House again.
