Only a five minute walk from the barge, you will find "The Lochiel". This cute little high set cottage is perched on two blocks of land. Heaps of yard to play totem tennis, patanque or a BBQ. It also has a LARGE closed in GAZEBO which makes great play room for the kids OR a peaceful place for adults!

The Lochiel has TWO KING BEDS, OR FOUR SINGLE BEDS. It also has a double sofa bed if needed for extra paying guests.Fabulous for a small family, a few friends or IDEAL FOR ROMANTIC COUPLES!

*"The Lochiel" is ONE of FOUR FABULOUS "QUIRKY COTTAGES". All the quirky cottages are together, yet all are private. If you have a large group of friends, or big family, you could book all 4 homes for a great get together week end! Please look me up on google for heaps more information.

Things to do whilst staying at The Lochiel

RELAX, UNWIND AND SMILE!!!!

Just before dusk, grab some fold up chairs or a picnic rug, a few drinks and some nibbles and walk up the road to Red Rock and watch the sun set over the main land. Beautiful!

Coochie is great healing Island with some wonderful natural therapists practicing right here on the Island. There is also a masseuse' who can come to your cottage for a private therapeutic massage, no need to leave your home.

You may like to simply REST in bed reading magazines and books.

Have a soak in the bath in the middle of the day.

Join in for a local game of lawn bowls at the recreation club

Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the Island

Play a game of golf

Enjoy a dip in the water

Sit on the beach and watch the world go by

Where is Coochiemudlo Island and how do I get there?

Only a 40 minute drive from Brisbane's C.B.D and a short ferry ride across the bay from Victoria Point, you will find beautiful Coochiemudlo Island.

You can catch the passenger ferry which leaves every half an hour at a cost of $6.80 return.

If you would like to bring your car across on the barge, the cost is a reasonable $50 return. The Barge runs later on a Friday until 7pm, making it easier to come after work. For BARGE, phone .
