Oakdale B&B offers well-appointed, affordable and peaceful accommodation in New Norfolk, 30 minutes from Hobart.

Ideal for couples, the self contained (no cooking facilities) beautifully appointed ‘Rosebud’ room has it’s own private entrance, spacious bedroom with queen-size blackwood bed, quality linen, ensuite, and private guest lounge overlooking the cottage gardens. The lounge has a television, compact disc player, and heating. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge.

Family friendly or ideal for two couples travelling together, The ‘Weeping Willows’ has three spacious bedrooms consisting 2 queen bed and 2 single beds, an open plan living area, and breakfast area. There is a television and on those winter nights – the log fireplace.

A continental breakfast is included in the tariff.

Oakdale is one kilometer from New Norfolk’s town center and its many antiques and collectable stores, supermarkets, pubs, shopping and services.

Take a stroll around New Norfolk, visit the many historical buildings in Willow Court or enjoy the beautiful Derwent River esplanade. Day trips from New Norfolk include Salamanca Market, Salmon Ponds and Trout Museum, Russell Falls in the Mount Field National Park, the tall trees of the Styx Valley and the unique scenery of Lake Pedder and experience the south-west wilderness world heritage area.
