Less than 20klms to Brisbane CBD or 30mins by train or bus. In less than 10 minutes you can be at the Boondall Entertainment Centre for all those live music and sporting events.

Easy access to Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast on-ramps where you can visit Movie World, Dream World, Sea World or Australian Zoo to name a few.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

A 2 min drive to the Sandgate/Shorncliffe foreshore or you can take a 10 min walk and stroll along the waters edge. Electric barbecues, play areas and beautiful scenery is the special of the day. A round of golf is less than 1 klm away. Great food is available along the beach and fresh seafood can also be purchased from the local co-op.

The popular Full Moon Hotel is set on top of the Cliffs where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the fantastic view across the bay. Offers great food and wine too. A must if you come to Sandgate.

A 15 min drive will also take you to Redcliffe Peninsula where you can board a ferry to Moreton Island. A 4x4 adventure for the whole family. A great range of outdoor sports available - boating, fishing, canoeing, kite surfing, parachuting. Bike paths and walk paths so you can take in the scenery and fresh air.

Whale watching cruises also available (seasonal).

Regular market days and just plain good old relaxing at any of the cafes along the esplanade which specialise in breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A fantastic family water park (Settlement Cove) is situated on the esplanade - Barbecues and kiosk available. A great day for the whole family and its FREE.
