Description

Without a doubt, “The Villa” is one of the best 3 bedroom villas in Port Douglas, one of the world’s finest five-star destinations.

The dual World Heritage areas of the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest as well as the Atherton Tablelands are on your doorstep and with many other world class attractions and venues within easy reach, Port Douglas is a destination that deserves time.

One of only 13 villas in a very private, spacious and secure property set on over 2 acres of lush tropical gardens, “The Villa” is just a short walk from the famous Four Mile Beach and less than 5 minutes drive (or local bus) from the village centre where you can enjoy world class shopping and restaurants.

Also very close by are 2 championship golf courses, the multi-award winning "The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary”, restaurants and a supermarket / shopping complex.

"The Villa" is the perfect Port Douglas holiday accommodation choice for couples, families or small groups looking for an up market holiday at an affordable price.

The Villa

With 320 sq metres of private indoor and outdoor living areas (more than three times the size of most holiday apartments), “The Villa” is one of the largest villas in Port Douglas, providing unparalleled space, peace and privacy.

It has 3 large bedrooms, all with a private en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, balcony and TV.

The gourmet kitchen and large lounge / dining / entertaining area provide for great entertaining / relaxation.

The lounge opens onto a private covered courtyard with a gourmet bbq / oven, a separate dining and entertaining area, and a fantastic 6 person spa set amongst lush tropical gardens.

Being one of only 13 units in the privately held group, with over 2 acres of common grounds, your comfort, privacy and enjoyment will not be compromised by over crowded, noisy accommodations.

Facilities

“The Villa” is fully furnished with quality furniture, fittings and fixtures throughout.

On the entertainment front there is a 108cm (42”) plasma TV, a DVD recorder / player, a VCR and a stereo sound system and radio in the lounge. There is also a 51cm TV in each bedroom. Austar (pay TV) is installed and available to most TVs (not available in bedroom 3).

There is also a large library of DVDs, CDs, books and games to suit all ages and interestes when downtime is preferred.

For those who just can't disappear while on holidays there is wireless broadband internet installed so you can stay in touch and / or research local attractions during your stay.

The bedrooms are disposed as a king, a queen and twin king singles (can be made up as two king singles or another king). Each has its own balcony access, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. All bathrooms have hair dryers. One has its own spa bath.

The gourmet kitchen is well provided for with all the normal appliances plus a cappuccino machine, juice extractor, blender for those exotic cocktails and plenty of quality cooking utensils, china, glassware and serving ware to allow you to whip up a tropical feast.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans allow you to separately control the temperature in the living rooms and each bedroom. All have louvre windows and insect screens to allow you to dial your particular brand of comfort.

Our "meet and greet" service is becoming world famous. We provide a large complimentary bowl of tropical fruits, flower arrangements and "bubbles" and show you around to help settle you in to the tropical lifestyle.

Guest Reviews
The villa and grounds were excellent. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, extra items like olive oil etc. were appreciated. Bedrooms were all spacious with excellent ensuite bathrooms. We enjoyed the open main floor layout and outdoor dining area. The generous selection of DVDs and CDs was a bonus. Lots of useful information about the neighbourhood was provided. Christine was very helpful. Highly recommended.

AWESOME, you have to stay here! Absolutely everything has been thought of, and Christine (the owner) is the most wonderful help whilst you are staying here. It's gorgeous, relaxing, really special. the location is fabulous, the pool gorgeous - it felt like our own 95% of the time, and then we met some really nice people. The house is truly wonderful (and we are critical guests) - I even much to my family's amusement had to video the dishwasher opening as its such fun! Really special place, great location, lucky YOU!

This is the most awesome villa, from our arrival to our departure it felt like we were in heaven! Christine has not only thought of everything you are ever likely to need, she genuinely cared about the quality of our holiday and did EVERYTHING (and more!) that she could to make it an outstanding holiday for us. We had the best time, and are hoping to go back very soon.
Some of the things that impressed us - the cleanliness of the villa, the home from home facilities - to the sugar in the cupboard, to the tv controls, the file of information for people staying, the thoughtfulness of the kitchen - both in layout as well as equipment (we love cooking!, the ease in which we settled in and made it our home, the excellent quality of all the fixtures and fittings - just everything. We couldn't have faulted it - even if we had tried to!
In fact I really wished I had taken my slippers it felt so much like home!
Finally to Christine who is an outstanding host and landlady - her care and attention were remarkable. From meeting us and taking us through the estate to the villa to helping us with tours and great meals (do go to the Salsa bar for dinner ;-D). I wish there had been and was a Christine at every venue we stayed in!

We've just had a wonderful 5 weeks at The Villa. Wonderful service, the villa was well appointed. We felt instantly comfortable and wanted for nothing.

Thank yo for an absolutely fabulous holiday. We were able to enjoy our time in Port Douglas without feeling we needed to take a second mortgage on a home to pay for it. Finally a quality place to stay at reasonable prices.

My family loved staying here. The Villa offered much more than we expected. It was a wonderful haven to return to after a day of touristing. We will come back next time we are in Australia and will definitely recommend our friends stay here.
