Description

Blackwattle Bay Apartment is located in Cook Street, Glebe - just a short walk from Glebe Point Road. It is recently renovated and located in a security building with water and city views. The sunny and spacious living-dining room has a balcony overlooking Blackwattle Bay, a 42 inch flatscreen TV, and DVD and CD players. Wifi is also available. The apartment has timber floors and a modern kitchen with stainless steel electric stove, microwave oven, dish drawer and refrigerator. There are two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and a refurbished bathroom with bath. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a lock-up garage.

The apartment is 2 minutes' walk to Glebe Point Road restaurants, shops and bus to the city. It is conveniently located near the Sydney Fish Markets and the Broadway Shopping Centre with supermarkets, movie theatres and video store. The Light Rail to the Casino, Darling Harbour and Sydney Terminal railway station is five minutes walk. The apartment is also only a few minutes' walk to the new Blackwattle Bay waterfront park.

The apartment is a non-smoking establishment. The minimum rental period is 5 nights.

A 50% deposit (maximum $500) payable by EFT is required to confirm a booking with the balance payable 14 days prior to arrival.

Check in time is normally 2pm, with departure by 10am. These times may be varied by prior arrangement with the owners.

Other Properties

In addition to this apartment, the owners also have a waterfront cottage at Jervis Bay and a Victorian house at Kiama, both on the NSW South Coast. Jervis Bay is renowned for dolphin and whale watching, and white sand beaches. Kiama is also a popular seaside destination, readily accessible from Sydney. These properties can be viewed on the Stayz site under 'Edna's at Erowal Bay' and 'Kiama Light House'.

Walking distance to shops and cafes of Glebe Pt Rd, the Fish Market and (provided you have reasonable level of fitness) Darling Harbour. Bus and light rail also highly convenient. We highly recommend it to others and will stay again if visiting Sydney. Be warned though there are several flights of stairs to negotiate if you have lots of large luggage (we always travel light)."

It's within walking distance of local shops (great bakeries, cafes, delis and takeaways)and a 5-10 minute walk (depending on how fast you are) to the tram stop. Glebe is a very interesting suburb, and we felt we got to see some 'real life' whilst also being close to the CBD. All in all we would highly recommend it."
