  • "We recently stayed in this delightful cottage that lived up to all the advertising and reviews written about it���.and then some. So much information was provided by the owner on the local area and of Melbourne in general that we didn���t even have to visit the tourist office. The cottage is in a wonderful location, close to the Bridge Rd factory shops and within a short tram ride to the city, although we found it was an enjoyable walk through the lovely Fitzroy Gardens to the city. In short it was absolutely perfect. "

  • "We originally chose the Bowen Cottage because of its good location. We usually stay in Quest apartments but we decided we would like to bring our two little pups this trip - so we went for the rental house. The cottage is really well appointed and has a lovely Melbourne feel to it. The front and back areas are spacious and leafy. The back room has a wall of windows which bought the sun shine in - but the air-con kept the heat out! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a clean, well equipped(we even found b'day candles)and homely property. The security front gate and extra toilet out the back were bonuses."

I have no hesitation in recommending Bowen Cottage and we will be staying there again."

  • "Beautifully restored and quiet cottage close to the hub of Melbourne and a stone's throw from Richmond's outlet shops and cafes. Lovely little BBQ area out the back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are hoping to get back next year and tackle the full marathon. The cottage is fully equipped and the king-size beds (with electric blankets!)are perfect for post-race recovery. "
