Guest Reviews

  • "Great view, short walk to beach. Nice cottage that is clean, well maintained and has everything you need. In a good location to see other parts of the central coast, or can just as easily have a good time staying in Killcare. Good value and would definitely recommend for a nice beach holiday."

  • "We booked the beach cottage for a Christmas holiday in Killcare. It has brilliant views and we loved the easy walk to and fro the beach! We'd love to come back one day!"

  • "A greeat place to get away from Sydney in just over an hour's drive. The cottage was small but practical and most importantly, a stone's throw form the beach. Will certainly come up again."

  • "This is our second visit to the beach house and once again we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our dog loves the leash free beach and the view from the deck is second to none. We look forward to returning again as soon as we can. Thank you"

  • "I have already send some comments which are on the site. We love this place and have stayed there twice - probably will come back soon. The view is just spectacular. A request would be proper blinds in all the bedrooms as the thin / lacy curtains did not block out the morning sun and hence our children woke up even earlier than usual!"

  • "My husband and I recently lost a dear friend and felt the need to escape to a quiet, peaceful place with our little dog. The Beach Cottage was perfect. The views are spectacular and the cottage is in a quiet residential beach area. We had long walks on the pristine beach, which is dog-friendly, and came back to Sydney feeling much stronger for having that peaceful weekend. It's a beautiful cottage, well appointed, and we liked the fact that it has some history and character. Would like to be back there right now!"

  • "We had a great time - beautiful part of the coast, very relaxing and great beaches for the children. The panaramic views from the beachhouse were amazing. Definately plan to return again."

  • "The property was excellent value, in particular we liked the BBQ and decking area with a fantastic view over the beach. Clean and well equipped."

  • "The Beach Cottage is the perfect old-fashioned beach getaway. We loved being able to walk down the leafy pathway to the beach, we loved the easiness of the house - everything you need is there without all the fuss - but most of all we LOVED the view!!! The ocean is practically in the room with you and it was so lovely to have the sound of the waves constantly in the background. Putty Beach was great in the morning for our kids and the rock pool at the southern end of Killcare was fantastic in the afternoon. We will be back!"

  • "We had a wonderful time, not long enough. King Parrot Cottage had everything that we needed for us, and the grandchildren and of course the family dog. Loved it, We'll be back."
