I booked in for 2 nights at St Marks church with my wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary. It was perfect! A beautiful, cosy vibe, with super-comfortable beds, impressive kitchen and living area, and a hot tub! The attention to detail in the Church conversion was amazing... preserving the stained-glass windows, wood floors, high ceilings and many more period features. I would highly recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway... and only a 10 min drive into Bowral! Many thanks for a great anniversary weekend. Matt

St Marks Kangaloon is a beautiful place to stay for a relaxing getaway only 1&1/2 hrs from Sydney. I have stayed there on two separate occasions and loved it both times! Big central combustion fireplace, kitchen with amazing cooking equipment, large comfortable beds, an outdoor jacuzzi and lots of lovely countryside all around to appreciate when you go for a walk.
I highly recommend it.

Myself and three of my friends went and stayed in St Marks for a two day weekend visit. Our intention was a relaxing weekend getaway and that's exactly what we got. The guesthouse was beautiful and comfortable, with a warm and welcoming decor. The beds were ridiculously comfortable, and there were a great range of books and videos to keep us entertained. We spent many hours relaxing in the heated outdoor spa, and the cooking facilities were fantastic. It's perfect for quiet weekend away from the world, whilst still having everything you could need to keep entertained. We will definitely be returning sometime in the future!

This is everything you wish for when you go away for a quiet weekend. The music in the stereo, the books to browse through and the foodie heart that is so evident in the kitchen. I love your taste in all things and would love to come back every weekend.

What a wonderful 2 night stay we had at St Marks. Where do I start to tell you how wonderful it was?
Would it be your nights spent in the most comfortable beds you could ever find, and just divine linen? or, the wonderful textures and colours in the furnishing/decor? or the amazing selection of music in the sterio and books to read, or the wonderful kitchen and the all you could think of in utensils, or the wonderful stained glass windows, the amazing views from the bedrooms, or the wonderful gardens to relax in? I'm not sure where to start, but we loved the stay and hope to return again.

St. Marks provided a great nest to launch our weekend in the Highlands. The attention paid to detail made the stay very worthwhile, the exquisite gardens and the private spa courtyard were particular favourites of mine. The cosy interior is warm & inviting. Remarkable.

This is without doubt one of the best kept secrets of the area. from the moment you walk in you want one just the same, kitchen, lounge , linen. The owners tastes are amazing. great book, video selection, every pot and pan you every want.
