Description

IT\'S A BEAUTIFUL TIME IN PACIFIC PALMS THIS TIME OF YEAR AND WITH WATER TEMPERATURES STILL HOVERING AROUND 22 DEGREES, NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO ENJOY EVERYTHING THAT THE AREA HAS TO OFFER!!!

SET ON 25 ACRES AND WITH NO IMMEDIATE NEIGHBOURS OR ROAD FRONTAGES, \"BALI VIEW\" IS ONE OF ONLY A SELECT FEW HOLIDAY RENTAL PROPERTIES IN THE PACIFIC PALMS AREA THAT OFFER ACCOMMODATION OF SUCH A HIGH STANDARD WITHIN A COMPLETELY PRIVATE ENVIRONMENT.

SO IF YOUR\'E LOOKING FOR A QUIETER AND MORE INTIMATE HOLIDAY SETTING THAT IS CENTRAL TO ALL LOCAL BEACHES AND ATTRACTIONS, THEN \"BALI VIEW\" IS FOR YOU!!!

BALI VIEW - A Balinese inspired retreat in a peaceful and private bushland setting with immediate lake and mountain views, and furnished in the traditional Indonesian style.

This unique two bedroom house sits on an elevated lakeside property of 25 acres with a sunny north-easterly aspect and comprises two building pavilions with high raked ceilings and exposed beams connected by a covered breezeway and surrounded by covered verandahs and a large open deck area set amongst surrounding tree tops.

The main pavilion comprises an open plan living/lounge, dining and kitchen area (the kitchen with Caesar stone benchtops, ‘state of the art’ appliances and an indoor/outdoor servery bar), a bathroom and the smaller of the two bedrooms accommodated. The open plan living area opens onto a covered verandah area via concertina doors.

The second pavilion comprises the main bedroom with full height glazing showcasing the elevated north easterly outlook along with a luxuriously appointed ensuite bathroom with natural concrete stepping stones set amidst loose riverstone pebbles, a walk-in robe, deep freestanding bath, and indoor/outdoor shower recesses. The ensuite bathroom is featured in the latest 2008 Winter edition of COAST LIVING lifestyle magazine (Page 120/Photo 9).

Natural (rough hewn) cypress pine logs form the supporting posts to the covered verandah and breezeway areas of the building with stainless steel wire balustrading to maximize the pleasant north easterly outlook from the elevated verandah and deck areas of the house.

The house contains quality inclusions: dishwasher, Ilve gas oven and stove, full-size refrigerator, a 68 cm flat screen stereo TV, radio/CD player and DVD player and a 6-seat dining table. Outdoor facilities include a four-burner gas BBQ with hood and side burner, an outdoor dining setting for 6 people, and two sun lounges with cushions. Books, magazines and board games are also provided.

The house sleeps 4 people and is most suitable as an intimate setting for one or two couples, or a small family (two adults and two children). The house is also suitable for small catered functions and get-togethers, subject to prior approval and arrangement through Pacific Palms Real Estate.

A holiday retreat with a difference which combines all modern conveniences within a luxurious, peaceful and private lakeside bushland setting.

***Please note that the property is not fenced and there is a small open pond located some 60 metres to the rear of the house which is required for bushfire fighting purposes.

For this reason we ask that guests ensure their children don\'t venture beyond the large cleared area of the land which surrounds the house unattended.

Also, the property next door to the left of the house is a wildlife sanctuary caring for injured wildlife (mainly wallabies). If you do own a dog or cat, please ensure that your pet is not permitted to roam unrestrained around the property.

If you intend to stay at Bali View with your pet, it is important that you advise us at the time of your accommodation enquiry. Please indicate the age, number and breed of your pet/s in the \'comments\' section of your enquiry. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Guest Reviews

  • "This was our fourth visit to Bali View and will not be our last. We just can't get enough of the place! We have been with and without our children and both experiences have been thoroughly enjoyed, as it caters for all types of visitors. We have an annual booking for our wedding anniversary because there is really no other place we would rather be! As soon as you step foot on the property, the ambiance of the cottage and the tranquility of the surrounds generates a mood of relaxation. While there is so much you can choose to do in the local vicinity, our favourite pastime is spent lazing on the balcony deck chairs, barbequing fresh local seafood and taking in those magnificent views and the rare experience of being nestled amongst the treetops.A truely romantic escape! We love everything about Bali View; the state of the art kitchen, the enormous bath, the awesome views, the privacy, the surrounding bush, the seperate master bedroom and the views that you can experience simply whilst laying in bed and who could forget, the outdoor shower! We would and do reccommend Bali View to all our friends and to any one looking for a private and tranquil escape from city life. Michelle and Dean"

  • "Such a great place to unwind, totally relax and regenerate in private serene surroundings nestled amongst the treetops. Just bliss. Didn't want to leave. Loved the Asian ambiance, has a magnetic influence that one does not want to escape. Magical views of Smiths Lake, short distance to pristine unspoilt beaches and gourmet eateries. This is what life is all about. Highly recommended. Can't wait to get back there. "

  • "We took our family of 5 up to the house for a couple of nights and ended up extending our stay and not wanting to return to Sydney the house was so comfortable and enjoyable. The house has a great floorplan which was perfect for family living having the main bedroom and ensuite seperate to the main living area, this would also be great for 2 couples as you could remain private. It was the little touches that made the house very special such as loads of board games and great novels to relax with not to forget the eye masks in drawers next to the bed for a daytime nap. The house is perfectly situated only 7 mins drive to the most beautiful beach in the world ( well in our mind anyway ) Cellito. Although the house is close to shops, beach and golf course it is a sanctuary of it's own every time you drive up the driveway you couldn't be further away from civilization with only the bird sounds to keep you company. The wonderful outside shower is testimone to this as you can shower with the wilderness. The kitchen is very well equiped with everything to cook those wonderful easy holiday dinners. In conclusion we would reccomend Bali View to anyone who would like to get away from it all in luxury. "
