Arborlee ,a" Land for Wildlife "site is 100acres of rainforest wilderness overlooking the Condamine River Gorge It is ideal for those who want a restful time enjoying nature.
The special features are birds,frogs, plants, fungi and other wildlife of the rainforest, the retreat context without other tourists, guided walks and scenic views.
It is perfect for the bird watcher, botanist, artist and photographer.
The guest unit is self contained and opens through French doors onto a verandah with views to the rainforest

Directions

Arborlee is 2hr 30 min from Brisbane. The drive covers some very scenic country.The town of Killarney is 25minutes awayand Warwick 35 minutes.
From Warwick: Turn left into Fitzroy St at the first set of lights, drive to the end of Fitzroy St about 1k and turn right into East St and drive 2.8k to a T intersection with the Killarney Rd and turn left. Drive 18.8k to the Tannymorel turn off to the left and drive another 5.7km. In Tannymorel take the Mt Colliery turn toward the the mountains. It is 5.3k through Mt Colliery to the right turn onto Gambubal Rd. It is then 6km up the mountain to the turnoff to Sunday Plains Rd. Our driveway is 0.67 km from this turn.

Other information

Two wheel drive cars need to park in the parking bay at the top of our driveway.We can pick you up if arranged.

The house is on 240volt solar power electricity and solar hot water with gas back up.

We share this land with the Alberts lyrebird that you can hear calling from late autumn to mid spring and occasionally at other times.It is our plan to make this place a Nature Refuge.
