Enter Alpine Retreat and you will instantly feel the warm and inviting ambience created by stone, vaulted timber ceilings and plenty of windows to let the light shine through.

The open plan dining area overlooks the outdoor patio setting through french doors creating a wide open space. The fully equipped kitchen overlooking the dining & lounge area has everything you could need including a gas stove, dishwasher and all your bits & pieces.
The lounge & dining areas both feature warm wood fires. Summer comfort is assured with reverse cycle air-conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

The 4 comfortable bedrooms feature queen, double & single beds. The 3 downstairs bedrooms all feature electric blankets & robes, the upstairs loft bedroom (which big kids will love!) also has electric blankets. All bedding & linen is included.
The master bedroom features an ensuite with huge double shower and separate toilet, it also leads to a private courtyard at the side of the property.

The newly updated bathroom features a magnificently deep bath to soak those aching muscles after a day exploring or hitting the slopes. You will also adore the huge double shower with oversized showerhead, quite a treat! The laundry has a washing machine.

Alpine Retreat welcomes well behaved, house trained dogs under strict yet standard conditions. Please be aware however that although secluded, the property is unfenced.

Whether you want to enjoy some time away with family or friends, Alpine Retreat offers plenty of room for everyone in a fantastic location, and fido can even come too!

Year Round Fun

Harrietville is beautiful gem hidden at the end of the Alpine Valleys. This peaceful, charming town offers fresh alpine air, spectacular views and absolute relaxation but there is also plenty of action & excitement to keep the whole family entertained! Harrietville offers something for everyone whether you yearn for adventure or an escape from the hustle & bustle of city life. Many events are also hosted in town year round.

Perhaps you could stroll down to the old swimming hole for a dip and a BBQ of fresh fish you've caught. 'Tronoh Lake', just a short stroll from the property has a jetty for fishing & dipping your toes in as well as a pontoon for the adventurous swimmer or you could just find a private spot along the crisp, clear Ovens river.
Make your way back past the ice creamery for a home made ice cream and a play at the park. While your at it check out the historical museum before stopping off at one of the cafes for a fantastic coffee. As the sun sets over the mountains, relax on the balcony of one of two hotels and sip a glass of local wine.

Looking for something a little more adventurous, take the world famous walk to Mt Feathertop. Or maybe one of the more gentle paths?
Cycle the Great Alpine Road or head up to Hotham for some skiing or mountain biking. Fishing, hiking, tubing, 4WDing, if you're only staying for the weekend, you'll be back!
And of course, there is plenty to explore out of Harrietville with Bright just 25kms away. Acclaimed wineries and restaurants are within your reach. Then you can visit Milawa, Beechworth, even take the easy drive to Falls Creek.
